I 100%ed the original Ratchet and Clank a couple of days ago. First time playing the first game as the only other Ratchet and Clank I've played before was the second game which is a great game and while the first game isn't as good as it its still worth playing.

There's a great flight game on the PS2 called Sky Odyssey and it never seems to get much attention. It's a great action adventure game that focuses on flying in rough conditions as opposed to just dogfights as you would see usually in other games. You gotta use your flight skills to go through the different mountains, ravines, tunnels, forests, etc. that the game throws at you while battling against various types of weather conditions and obstacles. It also has great replayability with the ranking system that gives more points by finishing the stage in the target time, doing risky stunts, and reaching for the checkpoints.The only real bad thing I have to say about it is that the graphics are quite bland with generic and ugly terrain and alright plane models (although given how its an extremely early PS2 and large the world is in the game I can forgive it that) and the physics can be a little unrealistic at times. It's probably the closest you'd to having normal flight game with actual flight sim mechanics on a console.

Bully for the PS2, 100%ed it in a couple of days and had no problem doing so considering that I had already completed the game on PC. Great game, easily one my favorite games that Rockstar has made.

IStillSeeTheX : Oh yeah the ambulance missions in GTA were pretty terrible. If it isn't how the physics make it ridiculously easy to tip the boxy ambulance over, its running over the patient and the time limit that you have to worry about. I almost lost my mind trying to do them when 100%ing GTA III, thankfully I eventually prevailed and finished the final level of it.

At least Nintendo has backwards compatibility in the first place, having a sort of double backwards compatibility wouldn't make sense from a business standpoint and design standpoint. Take the PS3 for example, the inclusion of the Emotion Engine drove prices up and those early PS3's have some of the highest failure rates than any of the other models. Having no hardware for backwards compatibility is better to a degree as it allows the company to allocate the expenses and development towards the newer and better hardware instead of shoveling the old stuff back in. That said, I'm not sure why Nintendo hasn't put GameCube games on the Wii U's virtual console as Wii games are available there, but it could be the same reason as to why GBA games aren't on the 3DS VC. The GBA ambassador games along with the Wii games on the eShop don't have your typical VC features like Miiverse support, save states, suspend points, customizable controls, etc. and Nintendo doesn't want to sell something that isn't VC worthy I guess, but that's just my take on it.

VideogamemanX : That's not emulation though, the Wii U is technically capable of playing GameCube games natively through the Wii hardware that's included for Wii backwards compatibility. That is unless the Wii U has actually already been hacked and a Homebrew channel has already been implemented with a working GameCube emulator in place and I haven't somehow heard about it yet.

Being a collector, I really don't like GameStop that much at all. Some of the used games, specifically the Nintendo games go for insane prices. For example a loose DS game from 8-10 years ago can be about $35. Also the condition of the used games are usually not too great and the stickers they use are a huge annoyance to get off. In short I'd only go to GameStop for the newest or newer games that come out, not pre-owned or older stuff.

Now there is a mom and pop store located in a small town near me. Two infact, they're called Cybertron Games and they're pretty cool. The first store is the most worn down, but it has some really friendly employees there. It's the type of store you would expect to come from a small town. Their selection is varied from 2600 games to PS4 games and they have well known classics to obscure stuff I never even heard about. Prices are reasonable, but the quality and condition of the games could definitely be better. Apparently they've opened up a new store in another area that's quite a bit away from me, but it looks a whole lot nicer and more professional and they have an even larger selection of games in great condition as it seems. I'll stick to getting my older games online for the modt part, but I'll also pay a visit to Cybertron once in a while.

Nintendo really should start using their other IPs or start making new ones. The big N still has a number of franchises under their hood that haven't a had a game for years like F-Zero and Custom Robo. Apparently F-Zero has become too stale, but a new Mario game with a single new addition or twist isn't. Splatoon did really well and is the most original idea Nintendo has probably had these recent years, so having some new IPs is hopefully something that's within their intentions.

Now I wouldn't mind the Amiibo situation too much if they weren't locking up gameplay within the games that use it and if they weren't so hard to find in certain cases. Cosmetic skins like in MarioKart 8 are fine, but making a gamemode that plays like the older games in Mario Party 10 definitely isn't. I wasn't even aware of the latter, the fact that Nintendo did a thing like that baffles me. That and for some reason they seem to have problems manufacturering amiibos at a higher rate. More people want amiibos than the number Nintendo has available and its making certain amiibo models go for absolutely insane prices.

Nintendo could technically jump ahead of everybody else with the NX, but that would require them to actually fix a bunch of things really quickly. They've tried to adapt to the modern standards set nowadays, but they still aren't quite there yet. Also Nintendo needs to start building relationships with third parties. The strong third party support of the NES and SNES along with Nintendo's stellar games is what made those systems sell in the first place. The support diminished with the release of the N64 because the way Nintendo generally were with other developers along with the cartridge limitations which turned many developers off (Same goes for the GameCube and it's Mini-DVD's). There's a reason Sony has had the most exclusives and console sales over the past years and one of the factors to that is that Sony knows the way to handle things when it comes to third party support.

Definitely Bowser's Inside Story, but Superstar Saga is a close second with Legend of the Seven Stars trailing behind. When I first played Superstar Saga I really liked it with its quirky dialogue, gameplay, and battle which meshes real time and turn based battle systems into one, but Bowser's Inside Story took that, expanded on it, and made it even better. Dream Team was also pretty solid, but imo it wasn't as good as the previous M&L games. I haven't played any of the Paper Mario games nor have I played Partners in Time as of yet, but I'll make sure I do in the future.

First ever console I owned was the PS2. I still love that thing, playing games like Crash, Spyro, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, and Need for Speed never got old for me. My first handheld console would be the Gameboy Advance SP, which would open up the world of Nintendo to me with games like Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby and the Magical Mirror, Pokemon, and A Link to the Past. Not to mention the backwards compatibility on both systems allowed me to experience older games on the original Gameboy, Gameboy color, and PS1.

Playing on the original hardware guarantees that the game will run with 100% accuracy with full speed, but may experience slowdowns, sprite flickering, or framedrops. That and you won't get all the fancy features that come with emulation like rewinds, fast forwarding, save states, netplay, custom textures, etc.

Emulators of older systems are for the most part extremely accurate having insane compatibility and features and it's streamlined so that anybody can use it easily. Now when you move up to more modern systems like the PS2 there's far more compatibility issues, glitches, and it's just a whole lot less user friendly (In the case of PCSX2). Even consoles like the N64 are still rather imperfect in the emulation aspect and Xbox emulation is practically nonexistent as far as I know.

Me being a collector myself I personally want to make use of the numberous consoles and games I have, but I have no issue using emulators. I also want to preserve my games and eliminate the amount of times I take in and out the cartridge and disc to preserve the pins and laser on the console so I just usually use a flashcart like an Everdrive or load my games a hard drive or SD card through homebrew.

It's great to back on Vizzed again after  so long and you know hat?I think I'm in the mood for a GTA Game so I picked the best one I could play on Vizzed and that game is Payback for the Gameboy Advance.Now I picked this game to review because it's pretty much exactly like GTA or Grand Theft auto.Also to better understand this game you might need to know what GTA is or at least know how it plays like and if you don't know then where have you been ever since it was released.Grand theft auto is one of the best sandbox games ever made and the third game in the series pretty much revolutionized gaming as we know it.Now you might be saying right now "Ninja what does all of this have to do with payback?".The answer to that question is........Everything.You see this game is a direct rip off of Grand Theft Auto or at least the first two games.I mean it's such a rip-off that it's not even a "rip-off" it's plagiarism which is sort of same thing I mean seriously the first area you go to is named Freedom city a obvious rip off of Liberty City from GTA or at least in the Grand Theft Auto series..However just because a game is a Rip-off of a better game it doesn't mean it's bad or is it?Okay,now let's get on with the real review of the game rather than giving all you readers a back story to look at!

Graphics:I can say this looks very good for something on the Gameboy advance since there are a lot of 3-d games on the GBA that come off very ugly because the system was never meant to do that in fact so much that some interesting games got cancelled because of that.So at least this one is pleasing to the eye or at least if they weren't any problems with it.There are times where the frame rate would drop and the game would run choppy and not only that,but not only that,but you can never get a good view of what's coming up ahead and this is okay for walking,but when I'm driving I need to have a good view of where I'm going or else I'm going to crash the car,but the reason the top down view camera can't zoom out is because the graphics will probably get too pixelated due to the GBA's screen.Now if you didn't experience these problems with the game play then good for you and that's understandable since you could get adjusted to the graphics and the problems they have like me back when I first found about this game and I haven't played in a while so it gives me problems,but overall the graphics are mediocre or at least okay.[5]

Sound:Now the Sound & Music is a different story.While there is no radio it forgives us in return while letting us listen to the music while we're walking sort of like in GTA 2 for the PS1 version of the game.Payback has some catchy tunes in it that gets you in the mood to destroy the entire city.Now for the sound they're just you're average sounds like gun shots and the sounds of the cars,but I want to touch on the small things like how the useless people say "Hey!" whenever you steal one of they're cars and how the people on the bus yell every single time whenever you crash it and even though that can get a bit annoying at times it's nice to see that the developers were trying to add some realism into a game . [7]

Game play:This section is going to be the score of Addictiveness just to let that out.As I said before this game plays exactly like GTA just with the gangs.You could start your missions by or just go and cause madness in the town and risk every one's life.You know the usual stuff.The phone idea is again ripped from GTA and the missions can be a bit basic at times,but that's okay since there's so much you can do with a top-down GTA clone on the GBA.Also while this might sound like a stupid question:Why is this game rated M?I mean sure there's some swearing and you do bad things like steal cars and blow stuff up,but still something like a T rating would've been much necessary for a game like this.Still The game play is pretty good. [7]

Story:Generic criminal guy goes and blows up the whole town,okay I just made that up because there is no story in the game or at least any story I no of because there might be an explanation in the manual,but those things don't exist anymore except the one I have which is from the game Cars.Maybe I'm getting a little bit too of topic. [No Story]

Depth:The Game offers a single-player game with 3 maps to choose from with 2 difficulty modes on each of them,a mutiplayer mode,and a single player rampage and also another good thing is that it keeps track of your records like police offenses,carjacking, and so on and it comes with a save feature with multiple files to save on so no password which is a plus because I just hate it when game developers are just too lazy to go and make a save feature in they're game in the 2000's. [7]

Difficulty:The difficulty really varies here.There are 2 different modes for each map as I said before and of course the second game mode is the harder than the other and they have more complex missions.So I just give it a 5 for games that have different difficulty's and also I want to note that the game let's you customize the controls.

Overallayback was a huge surprise to me when I first discovered it on Youtube.The only problem is that back then I never had played a Grand theft auto game to compare the two all I knew is that it played similar to it,but now I can say that this game is the best GTA clone I've ever played on a handheld.You might be shocked,but yes I don't think any clone matched up to this one.I mean think about it it's 2001 and you have a GBA,but you want to play a very fun sandbox game that let's you do whatever you want.All you have at the time was GTA 1 & 2 for GBC and those were nowhere as fun as the real GTA and GTA advance still didn't live up so this game was the only other choice.Not only that it's much more suited for portable play because with no story you can just jump into the action which makes me realize why didn't Rockstar give us a game like this,but more polished?Still this is a game you should check out if you're interested.

Overall Score: 7 Out of 10 [Good]

A remake for Super Mario Land would be great!I still wish they would put more content into this game and make the graphics a little better.I don't think you should give a low score in some categories for just being the same as Super Mario Land because not everything in a remake needs to be changed.I still think you did a good review.

I'm back and ready to review more games!Now if you couldn't tell by this time I love racing games!I have never spent more time on any genre than racing.I like other genres too like Platforming,RPG,puzzle and more,but I think racing is my number 1 genre and that's why I'm going to review a game on the N64 called Beetle Adventure Racing.The game is a racing where you race with Volkswagen Beetle 2.0 Models and while I don't know out of all the cars in the world they choose a Volkswagen Beetle 2.0,but I guess it works .I've heard a lot of good things about this game like being someone's favorite childhood game.So I have some High hopes for this game and it's also made EA you know the people who make the Need For Speed games.So let's start the review now.

Graphics:The Graphics look great for N64.The textures are nice and the car look very detailed.The only problem is that sometimes you might encounter a "graphical glitch" in the game.Also while this an opinion and it doesn't affect the score I find it weird how the car just explodes into pieces so easily when you hit something hazardous and then some small explosion happens inside. I don't know something about it (If not all of it) just looks very unrealistic even if it is a video game. [9]

Sound:The sound is  catchy and fits in the style of the game like most racing as they should.[8]

Addictiveness:Game play is very simple.Like all racing games you need to try to get to 1st place (or 2nd or 3rd) to win that race and if you in a championship then you move into the next race if you're in the top 3.You can handle the car very fluidly in this game.When racing you will see some boxes with numbers on them if you hit those boxes then you game points and if you get enough points then you can earn some continues for the championship mode.There is also a N box and when you hit it you car gets an instant boost.When you win a champion ship you get 1 new track and 3 new cars that go much more faster then the other ones.

Depth:The game has 6 tracks..........right now I would give this game a low score for only having 6 tracks,BUT this game has more than that like unlockable cars,a champion ship mode with 3 tournaments to compete in,a Mutiplayer mode with a beetle battle mode, and a single player that let's you go against one computer opponent or 8 and a mode every racing has is time attack.Wow that was a lot of information. [7]

Difficulty:The game has 3 difficulty settings-Easy,Medium,and hard not only that,but there are better cars you can use to improve your performance.The game is very easy to pick up and play then advance and improve your skills. [3]

Overall:Beetle Adventure Racing is a great racing game for the Nintendo 64.The graphics are great for an N64 game,The sound and music fits in to the style of the game.Gameplay is simple yet very fun and has some nice depth would recommend this to anyone who has a N64 and loves racing and anyone who is interested should try it.

Overall Score: 8/10  *Great*

Wow,it's sure been a long time ever since I done something like this.Now aren't you guys glad to see me back.Also today's game if you didn't notice the title is Pac-Man Collection for the Gameboy Advance.It's a collection containing Pac-Man(Duh) and Pacmania as their full arcade classics.Then it has Pac-Attack a genesis port with thumbed down music due to GBA hardware and no versus and a special Arcade game called Pac-man Arrangement a port of a game from 1996 and again the music is thumbed down due to the  GBA.This game (Pac-Man Collection) was released a month after Namco museum for GBA another game I'll be reviewing.Now if you don't mind on to the review!

Graphics:Now Pac-Man is a simple and a game that is simple comes with graphics that are simple.......While that only applies to the original Pac-Man every game in this collection looked the same way they did in the arcades and the original pac-man even allows you to full screen (Less Graphical detail,more space to look where you're going) and Scroll (More Graphical detail up to Arcade standards,Less space to look where you're going),However I just choose scroll more often. {10}

Sound:As I said in the beginning the music for Pac-Man arrangement and Pac-Attack have been thumbed down due to the GameBoy Advances hardware.As for Pacmania that music is the same as the arcade except they took some parts of the music out and I'm talking about Pac-Man Park and that's sad because That's one of my favorite music tracks from the game. {8}

Addictivenessac-Man isn't the game I come back to play very often because it gets repetitive playing the same map over and over again or the same stage.However the controls for the game work really good and are very responsive.The controls are for some reason the main reason I come back to keep playing the game.It makes me enjoy the game because the control won't be cheap and I compared the Nes version of Pac-Man to Collection and it was a big improvement to the controls.The only problem with the game is that it won't save your scores.Now it really pisses me off when a game won't even save my score however Pac-Attack does have a Password feature,but it's only used for the Puzzle mode and the password to see the ending. Wow.Just wow.Of course I can't tell because SPOILERS!Also I even cracked the cart and the chip inside was a password chip it doesn't affect the game,but I thought I tell you guys anyway. {6}

Story:None {   }

Depth:You already know the Game comes with Pac-Man,Pac-Attack,Pacmania, and Pac-Man Arrangment.The game also has tips for al the games and you can customize the settings for the game such as lives score till you get an extra life however you can only access these before you start the game.That makes sense for Settings,but Tips? {7}

Difficulty:I'm sorry,but there are times that Pac-Man is so hard that it's pretty much impossible to even beat it.There are points where a power pellet will only last you like a second.The only game that's really easy is arrangement because it has a continue screen unlike the original.While Pacmania is easy at first when you can jump ghosts,but the last 2 worlds will be hard. {7}

OVERALLac-Man Collection is a very good game for the Gameboy Advance.It has some of the greatest arcade games featuring Pac-Man on the go and is a addition to your collection along with Namco museum for the GBA as well.Review Complete.

OVERALL SCORE:7.5 Out Of 10

Today I got a 2000 Wii points card and a copy of Need for speed underground 2 (Not like it matters).So excited I scratch it the silver part where the bar code should be,but I accidentally do it too much an make the code not so clear to read.I try to put in the code,but it won't work.I don't want to take it back to Gamestop because they won't take it back and will think it's a scam.What should I do?

Whoa.I've got to say this a very informative review for newbie,But to correct you it's the called Twinmill challenge and you go against Twinmill and Twinmill II on the sludge works track.Also I have to mention that the N64 graphics are the better ones because there is less pop-up and it isn't pixelated.Still the PlayStation version is better.Anyway Great review!

I remember when I was younger a lot of boys my age back then would play with Hot wheels.It was the hottest toy in it's time and it's still popular today.Then every popular franchise gets it's own game.This started with Hot Wheels for the C64 in 1985.Now the Hot wheels game's are known for being pretty high quality even for a kids game.So I'll be reviewing the first game that came to home consoles.That game is Hot Wheels Turbo Racing for the N64.The game is also for the PlayStation which I think is the better version which I will talk into later.Now this game focuses on doing aerial tricks to earn boost to win the race.Sounds simple right?Well it is,but that's what makes it such a fun pick up and play game,But now enough talking On to the Review!

Graphics:The graphics look good for it's time.Cars look more detailed and there's less pop-up unlike another version I know. {7}

Sound:The music in this game is pretty catchy,but it's too bad the engine and car noises over shadows the music since it's more louder.Oh well that's what the sound options are for. {8}

Addictiveness:The tracks are very well designed and some even have some special design like for example in Helicrash.Not only that ,but the mutiplayer is tons of fun.This is a game you'll keep coming back to. {9}

Story:Nope,Nothing here. {  }

Depth:This is when I'll start bashing the game.It has one problem........It's too SHORT!The game only has 8 tracks in all,but It has a good number of cars spanning to about 40  actual Hot Wheels.Also It has Exhibition Race (Quick Race),Airtime challenge (Get the most points),Hot Wheels Cup (Do  tournament note:There are only 3 of these in the game),Practice(Do whatever you want),Practice Airtime (Same thing as Practice).While it is a nice selection all you need to do to beat the game is the Hot Wheels Cup everything is pretty much extra which mean if you're pretty good you can beat the whole game in like 2-4 hours. {4}

Difficulty:I got to say for a kids game this can get pretty hard at times.I mean the Twin mill Challenge was hard even on Easy and also I forgot to mention the way you adjust the difficulty is a sliding bar.So for example crank it to the red for Expert and crank to the yellow for Easy or just put it in the middle like me for Medium. {7}

Emulation Problems:Welcome to the new section called Emulation problems.Here I will talk about problems that happen in the Vizzed emulator.There is only one problem and that is once you start a race and it ends The main menu gets all messed up not like it makes it impossible to see I thought I'd mention it.

Version differences:Another new section so if a game has multiple versions I will go through the differences.Note:Both only support 2-Player.
N64harper graphics,Less Fog and Pop-up,Voice clips,Short songs and missing one of them.
PS : Pixels can be seen in graphics,3 extra Tracks,Full length Songs,More fog and Pop-up.

Overall:Hot Wheels Turbo Racing was a pretty good game for the time and it still is.With it's good track design,Graphics soung and control I say I would recomend it.If you're a fan of Hot wheels or a big racing fan I would you should try it.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
