Aladdin for SNES was a nice jump'n'run with a great look and this version of the game is completely the same.
Gameplay:
This is a typical jump'n'run. You walk through the stages with Aladdin, climb obstacles, jump on enemies or throw apples at them. While doing this you can collect diamonds (100 diamonds means an extra life), food to heal yourself and scarabs which allows you to play the genie roulette where you can gain an extra life, continue or health. Unfortunately this is all the game has to offer. There are no secret items to find or anything like that. You're doing the same all the time through the entire game.
Graphic/Stages:
The original was one of the best looking games on the SNES and this is one of the best looking games on GBA. The graphic is very nice and the stages still very beautiful and creative. The stages look different and have some great ideas. And just like in the original they get harder and harder. The game isn't to hard but challenging enough for the player to come back.
Sound:
I still find the sound quite disappointing. There are just a few tunes which you'll forget fast. This is even more sad because the stages are so gorgeous.
Conclusion:
Aladdin for GBA is an exact copie of the SNES original but still fun. It still offers to less, has a weak sound and a flat story but solid jump'n'run mechanics and gorgeous looking stages. When you liked the SNES original then you know what's coming and when you played the genesis version you'll enjoy this one, too.

As the name says it's the second game of the series.
Story:
The story starts of with the chunin exams and ends with the fight against Gaara. Of course the story is not getting told like in the anime/manga. You've just got some chats where the characters are talking and then the level starts. When you don't know the story from the anime/manga then it's not as good as it really is.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is almost similar to Ninja Council. You have 3 characters (Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura) you can change every time you want and you're walking through the levels but unless in Ninja Council you're not under time pressure. The fights are better than in the first game and harder, still easy but not as easy as in Ninja Council.
Graphic/Levels:
The graphic is good and the characters are much more detailed than in its predecessor but unfortunately the levels are not as creative as in Ninja Council.
Sound:
The sound is good again and matches well to the look and mood of the game.
Conclusion:
Naruto-Ninja Council 2 is better than its predecessor with a better graphic, a good sound and better fights but unfortunately with less creative levels.

Naruto-Ninja Council is the first game of the Ninja Council series of the famous anime/manga Naruto.
Story:
You can't really rate the story of the game. Unless the mangas the game has almost no story. You just fight against your Konoha ninja friends like Konohamaru, Neji or Ino just because you have to past a test of Kakashi. There are no story elements, so I won't rate the story.
Gameplay:
In Ninja Council you can choose between Sasuke or Naruto (both characters go through the same test, there are no differences). Each one got his own 3 jutsus you can use against the enemies. The enemies, included the boss fights, are not very difficult and because you're moving around the levels with a fast pace you don't have to use your jutsus. You can collect some Konoha symbols and scrolls with different element jutsus you can/have to use. Another negative point is the time of the game: you can play through the game with both characters in 2 or 3 hours the first time.
Graphic/Areas:
The graphic is ok. The characters are not very detailed and the different areas are truly different but nothing special.
Sound:
The sound of the game is good. Nothing special but good and it matches very well to the game's look.
Conclusion:
Naruto-Ninja Council is a fun game. Unfortunately the graphic and the difficulty disappoints but in the end it's a fun, short game.

The second Streets of Rage game for Genesis.
Story:
Mr. X the syndicate boss has come back and kidnapped on of Alex's friends. Now together with 3 friends Alex goes on a trip to fight Mr. X and his criminals. The story is simple of course, but enough for the game.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is simple: you're walking from the left to the right and up and down and beat up the criminals with punches and kicks. Sometimes you get some weapons like pipes or knives to fight them and to heal yourself you can find food. Unfortunately the fights are not very dynamic and there are just a few combos. At the beginning you can choose of 4 players and each one got its own combos and moves. Another good thing is the pacing and balancing of the game. It starts of easy and with each new stage the enemies and bosses get harder.
Graphic/Stages:
The graphic itself is good and the characters are very detailed but the stages, even there are many different, are not very spectacular and don't have any highlights.
Sound:
The sound of the game is good, nothing special but it matches well to the mood of the game.
Conclusion:
Streets of Rage 2 is a cool fighter with a cool mood and music but unfortunately with just a few combos and not very dynamic fights. In the end I can say that I had my fun with Streets of Rage 2 but I'm a bit disappointed because I expected some more dynamic fights.

Story:
The story of the game isn't really there. It starts with a king getting kidnapped and you, a little girl has to safe him and defeat the dark lord. There's almost no story, just at the end you see a few scenes.
Gameplay:
Magical Pop'n is a jump'n'run with typical jump passages and some magic skills you get. You go from one stage to the other, find new skills, heart pieces and beat some enemies. Within the stages you've got different ways to get through and find things. Because of the skills the game has a nice feature and a good flow. The enemies are not very hard just like the bosses. Even the jump passages aren't that difficult.
Graphic/Stages:
The graphic of the game is very good, you've got well animated characters. The stages are nice and some of them look good (posted screenshot) but they are not really special.
Sound:
The sound of the game is good and matches very well with the stages and look of the game.
Conclusion:
Magical Pop'n is a good jump'n'run with nice stages and graphics, some cool magic skills and different ways within the stages. Unfortunately it's to easy and has nothing really unique and special.

It's the second game for SNES.
Story:
Master Higgins and his wife Tina want to have their honeymoon on a float. But then they have an accident and get lost. Tina gets found by a king and gets forced to stay with him. Master Higgins just awakes on a beach and is searching for his wife. Then he sees how she gets kidnapped and of course he's on the way to find her. This sounds simple and it is, but every time you defeat a boss Master Higgins hears a voice, the voice of Tina and they are talking to each other and the interesting thing is that they lost their memories and don't know who the other person is. The story is cool and much better than in the first one.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is also much better. Unlike the first Super Adventure Island the gameplay is more like Zelda now. You've got a big world (posted screenshot) you can discover by a float and of course there are different dungeons you have to get in and defeat a boss to progress through the game.Unfortunately the maps of the dungeons are not very good. Just like Zelda you've also got different weapons (different swords) and even different armors and shields and magic abilities (posted screenshot). There are also heart pieces and magic bottles to find to get more energy and magic. The difficulty is not as hard as in its predecessor but ok. The bosses are not to hard most of the time and the normal enemies are easy. The world is big and there are many things to discover and like in Zelda or Metroid you just can get certain items when you have a certain weapon or ability. That means you must/ can go back to old dungeons later in the game to find everything the game has to offer.
Graphic/Dungeons:
When you're on the world map the game is pixelated but when you're in the dungeons Master Higgins and the enemies are very well animated. The backgrounds are very varied and look different in each dungeon and they look very good. You've got some beautiful backgrounds (posted screenshots).
Sound:
The sound in the first game took a while to get good and here the sound is good from the very beginning. There are some nice funny tunes which match very well to the dungeons.
Conclusion:
Super Adventure Island 2 is more like Zelda with many items, things to collect, a big world and dungeons. It has a very good graphic with great colourful dungeons. It's not as good as Zelda but in the end a good adventure you will definitely not regret playing.

Super Adventure Island is the third game in the series.
Story:
The story is quite simple: You're Master Higgins and you and your girlfriend are sunbathing and then your girlfriend gets kidnapped by a monster.
Gameplay:
You walk from the left to the right, collect hammers or boomerangs to hit and beat your enemies. That's almost everything you do. A few times you can ride on a skateboard but just to get faster through the level. There's also no password or save function in the game (of course you can use F2 to save; I did it) when you lose all your lives and continues then you have to do everything from the very beginning. That's the reason why the game is so hard. The fights are also easy because the enemies are beaten with one hit and the boss fights are simple.
Graphic/Level:
The graphic itself is very good, the characters are well designed but the background and the levels themselves are just boring. You've got some nice beach levels but nothing exciting.
Sound:
In the first few levels the sound is just normal, nothing special but also nothing really bad. Later the sound gets better and matches well with the last levels.
Conclusion:
Super Adventure Island is a simple jump'n'run with nothing special as far as the gameplay goes, good animations but boring levels and a hard difficulty and a non existent story. A game you don't have to play.

It's the second Go Go Ackman game on SNES and in this review I can't say much about the story because the game is in Japanese, so I don't rate the story.
Story:
It's still about Tenshi who wants to defeat Ackman and to do so he gets help by another angel and the Metal Angels.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is exactly like in the first game: you jump, beat up enemies and defeat bosses. There are also some special levels like in the first game but here you fly and drive a cart in a mine. Unfortunately you can't choose different ways like in the first one. And another negative point is that it's shorter than the first one but as difficult as Ackman 1.
Graphics/Stages:
The character design is from Akira Toriyama again and great. You've got great characters like the Metal Angels (posted screenshot) and some good looking stages but unfortunately not as good as in Ackman 1. The graphic itself is still very good for SNES.
Sound:
The sound instead is just as good as in the first one.
Conclusion:
Go Go Ackman 2 is almost exactly like the first one. Unfortunately it's shorter, the stages are not as good as in the first one but the character designs are just as fantastic as in Ackman 1. At the end you can say that Go Go Ackman 2 is a good game and if you like the first one you will like this one as well.

A cool game about the devil's protégée versus the angle Tenshi.
Story:
Ackman is the devil's protégée and has to fight Tenshi, a little angle from heaven who wants to beat Ackman. Ackman and his little friend Godon are going on the way to defeat Tenshi and overcome his traps and angle army. The story is cool, with funny phrases ("what's a great angle?") and characters.
Gameplay:
Go Go Ackman is a simple jump'n'run. You play Ackman and walk from left to right, beat up the enemies with punches or weapons (boomerang or gun) and at the end of the levels you fight a boss. The gameplay itself is simple but the difficulty is very very hard. The special thing is that at some points in the game you can choose what you want to do and that affects the levels you're playing. You can choose to continue on water or in the caves. There are even some special levels where you drive a car or swim on a boat.
Graphic/Stages:
The graphic is very good and I would say it's one of the best. The stages look cool and there are some nice ones, like the desert (posted screenshot). Unfortunately there are not that many. And as a anime or manga fan you recognize it immediately: the character design is from Akira Toriyama (Dragonball).
Sound:
The sound is also very good and matches very well with the funny moments.
Conclusion:
Go Go Ackman is a great jump'n'run with the great design of Akira Toriyama, some cool stages, a very good graphic and hilarious characters and a cool funny story. When you can overcome the hard difficulty then you find a great game you won't regret playing.

I'd like to be Shikamaru Nara from Naruto. Then I would be relaxed all the time and wouldn't do anything.

Pokémon Leaf Green is a remake of the first Pokémon game the Blue Version.
Story:
The story is the same as in the Blue Version. You're a Pokémon trainer who goes on  his adventure through the world of the Pokémon and wants to become a member of the Hall of Fame.
Gameplay:
Pokémon is like an RPG. You choose one of 3 Pokémons at the beginning and later you catch other Pokémons with Poké Balls. You fight with these Pokémons against other trainers and wild Pokémons. For each Pokémon you beat your own one gets experience, gains levels, learns new attacks and evolves. The fights are round-based: you choose an attack (one of the many different ones) then you attack and then your opponent attacks. In the fights you can use items to heal and cure your Pokémons.
Next to the fights you can talk to a lot of people who give you more information about the world and you can collect many many items and Pokémons. There are 150 Pokémons (in this game) you can collect and fight with.
Graphic:
The villages and the world are the same as in the Blue Version but on the graphical level of the Ruby and Sapphire Versions. As well as the graphic there are things like the map which are adopted from the Ruby and Sapphire Version. The graphic itself is fantastic. It's probably the best graphic on GBA. The villages look great and the Pokémons on the Pokédex and in the fights are great animated.
Sound:
The sound is also the same as in the first game. There are some memorable tunes which will not leave you for a long time.
Conclusion:
Pokémon Leaf Green is a great made remake of the Blue Version with the same story and Pokémons from the original but with the graphic and details from the Ruby and Sapphire Version. At the end it's still a great game with cool fights a big world and a paradise for people who like to collect as much as possible. One of the best GBA games!

A Batman GBA game that's not based on a movie.
Story:
Batman has to fight against different enemies like Bane and Clayface to find a weapon of mass destruction. And at the end it's of course Sin Tzu who's the leader of the criminals and wants to use the weapon of mass destruction. The story is interesting and gets told with pictures in a cool comic look.
Gameplay:
The gameplay seems to be simple: you walk and jump from the left to the right and beat the enemies with punches and kicks. But because of the good level design the game motivates to solve the riddles and try the jump passages again. And as you progress through the game it becomes very hard and you have to use your gadgets more often. When you fight against the normal enemies you just have to mash up the punch button to knock them out. The highlights of the game are the boss fights: they are challenging and each one needs its own strategy.
Graphic:
The graphic of the game is good for GBA. The characters are not that detailed but the backgrounds are good and in each area they look different.
Sound:
The sound matches very well to the atmosphere and look of the game.
Conclusion:
Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu has an interesting story, cool boss fights and a very good level design as well as good music and good looking backgrounds.

Star Wars: Apprentice of the Force is the handheld game to the original trilogy of George Lucas.
Story:
The story, or better the stories of the game are the ones of the movies. The stories are still interesting and of course shortened for the game. They are told with pictures from the movies and subtitles (posted screenshot).
Gameplay:
The gameplay is quite easy: you walk from the left to the right, shoot or slash your enemies with the lightsaber and progress through the levels and from one episode to the next. When you get your jedi force powers you can push enemies away, jump higher etc. The fights with the lightsaber are more dynamic and cooler than the ones with the gun.
Graphic:
The graphic is good and bad. The characters itself are not very detailed and pixelated but the backgrounds are good animated.
Sound:
The music is the great one from John Williams you know from the movies.
Conclusion:
Star Wars: Apprentice of the Force is a good Star Wars game with good looking backgrounds, nice fights and the great stories of the movies mixed with the legendary music of John Williams.

Klonoa-Empire of Dreams is the first handheld game of Klonoa.
Story:
Klonoa, the little and tough Handear Cat, dreams himself into a world and has to safe the empire of dreams, so the people can dream again. The story is nice and has an interesting twist and sympathetic characters.
Gameplay:
Klonoa on GBA is focused on puzzles. You don't have real fights against enemies. You just walk through the different areas and solve puzzles with your enemies by taking them. The puzzles are nice and get harder but even at the end they are not that difficult. Something special are the riding-levels: in this ones Klonoa rides a board and you just have to jump because these are auto-scrolling levels. There are also auto-scrolling levels where you have to jump with Klonoa and show your reflexes. These auto-scrolling levels are the most difficult in my opinion.
Graphic:
The Graphic is very good for GBA and the levels are different but I don't really recognized something special.
Sound:
The sound of Klonoa is good and it has some nice tunes and melodies.
Conclusion:
Klonoa-Empire of Dreams is a good puzzle game with many puzzles, very good animations, some special auto-scrolling levels and a nice sound. When you like puzzle games than you won't regret playing it.

The 4 stories of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Stories:
You can choose between the 4 Turtles and each one got his own story.
Leonardo has to fight against some mechanic Mousers.
Raphael meets Casey for the first time and fights Purple Dragon.
Donatello is searching for the kidnapped Raphael.
 Michelangelo investigates the old subways.
The 4 different stories are all nice and with some cool phrases (posted screenshot).
Gameplay:
The gameplay is typical for TMNT. You walk from one stage to the other and beat up some bad guys. Each one of the Turtles has his own moves and combos and in each story there's a special act: for example Shell Bike act with Raphael or Shellboard act with Michelangelo.
Graphic:
The graphic is GBA-like good and the different areas are ok, nothing special but ok.
Sound:
The sound is good and matches very well to the Turtles.
Conclusion:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for GBA is a good game with dynamic fights and 4 separate stories and cool phrases.

pacman1755 : It's definitely worth playing. When you know the other Castlevania games and like them then you should play this one.
And thanks for your reply.

The second Castlevania game for GBA and quite possibly the best of the series.
Story:
Juste Belmont and his friend Maxim are going into a dark castle to find their friend Lydie. And as the story evolves Maxim is getting controlled by a dark lord and with this the story has some twists and is interesting. Of course is the story something that's not the biggest part of the Castlevania-series, but this one is good.
Gameplay:
Since Castlevania: Symphony of the Night the series has become a Metroid-like game. The gameplay is simple and brilliant at the same time: you walk through the castle, find items, beat enemies and bosses and get new abilities. Harmony of Dissonance has got a lot to offer that means you can find many many items. Unlike it's successor (Aria of Sorrow) you just got your whip which you can upgrade and is completely ok, and next to the whip extensions you can find armors, helmets, boots and cloves which make you stronger. You also get different spell books and each one got its own abilities, advantages and disadvantages (my favourite book is the wind book by the way). To keep your orientation you can use the map (which looks exactly like in Metroid) and it's always a great feeling when you discover something new on the map and get new things. The worst thing at Harmony of Dissonance is the difficulty. I hate to say this ( because it's pulling the rating down) but the game is not very difficult. There are some moments, especially when you get into new areas, where the enemies are challenging but they get easy fast and then there's nothing challenging anymore. Even the boss fights are easy.
Graphic/Areas:
The graphic is GBA-like good but the strength are the areas. The areas of the castle are truly different and each one looks special and they are just fantastic. From creepy (posted screenshot) to fantastic (posted screenshot) to fascinating there's everything.
Sound:
The game doesn't just have great areas but also a great sound. It's like in Super Metroid: the simple sound and the areas create a special atmosphere you don't have often in video games. The sound is just great!
Conclusion:
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance is a great game! It has a perfect gameplay, fantastic and varied areas, a great sound and a lot to offer. A game that steals time and gives a lot of fun. You just have to play it!

I liked Lost Odyssey. It's one of the few JRPGs on XBOX360. It has a very good graphic and I liked the story and the characters. Especially the "Thousand Years of Dream" was something I really liked and enjoyed reading.
