Jordanv78 I have attempted to find some Meetup groups near me, but sadly there really aren't any around.  Or none that really cover my interests at least.

janus I actually recently graduated from college, so that is why I am asking for the advice.  I have done some looking on Facebook now and have found a couple groups that catch my interest and that I am looking into now.

Kuti_Kat Thanks for the words of encouragement!  I have been looking for places to volunteer, but have been unsuccessful as of yet.  I plan to continue looking though.  I will also work on stepping out of my comfort zone.  It has never been my strong suit, but I will do my best!

Hey Everyone!

So I am completely new to an area and don't really know many people.  I know some people through work, but haven't got a chance to really talk with them outside of work.  I also tend to be very bad with meeting new people.  I am definitely more of an introvert and not that great at knowing what to say in an effort to get conversations started or keep it going.  I do always enjoy meeting new people and making new friends, I am just not the greatest at it.  School always used to be available to meet new people, but now I have recently graduated college and have started a job in an entirely new area.

I was curious if anyone knows of good ways to meet people, either in general or those with similar interests.  Do you have something that worked for you or someone you know?  Any tips to help me out to meet new people or good ways to talk and start/keep conversations going?

I know that I tend to do this a lot as well.  To the majority of the world, I only show what I feel people want to see, which is usually a smile or laughter.  I joke way more than I am serious and don't share too much either.  Even with friends, I don't usually share too much of what I am feeling.  But when I do occasionally talk to someone about my problems or things going on with my life, it helps a lot.  I feel much better and sort of like a weight is lifted.  I am still working at getting better at talking about these things, but I do know it is nice.  It is almost always someone close that I talk to.  They understand and help as best as they can.

I would end up being Cadence from Crypt of the Necrodancer.  If the world worked out for her as it does in the game, then I would end up being fine since she has a multitude of sharp weapons and moves with the beat of music as do enemies.

I really like Cloud's and Cid's Limits from FFVII.  Cloud's Omnislash looks even cooler in Advent Children, but still cool in FFVII.

I was having a think today and was think of the ways that a Kingdom Hearts Tabletop type game might work.  I have done a little bit of research online and found a few things that sort of start with ideas, but nothing really specific and don't really go into too much.

Has anyone heard of/played a Kingdom Hearts Tabletop game or a variant of other tabletop games that can incorporate Kingdom Hearts?  I want to try playing one myself, or attempt to make one for the sake of playing it since I think it would be a lot of fun.

I do like Sora from KHII and afterwards.  The first game, he wasn't necessarily my favorite character, but I did like the game.

I also have to say that I like Saix.  His personality is just something that I thought was a fun addition to the game and how he interacted with Sora.

I would have to say that my two favorite character would both be from FF7.  Cloud and Sephiroth are just two awesome character that I have always enjoyed when playing the games.  It might also be because FF7 is the game where I began in the series.

I think that a reason people might not like this game is because it takes away from the normal JRPG style that was in most other Final Fantasy games.  

I have also heard complaints about people not liking the style of the characters and their personalities.  I have seen complaints about Vaan complaining too much and other characters just being generally annoying.

Personally, I enjoyed the game and the aspects of the game that were different from previous Final Fantasy games.

I would definitely have to go with Steel.  They are my favorite type of Pokemon, plus they are very tough.  Making the right team would just be really awesome and Powerful.

I would say Gengar.  There are some pictures which just make him seem incredibly creepy.  I don't want to meet up with him in any dark place.

I always thought of Rare Candies as like steroids instead of actual candy because it leveled up your Pokemon automatically.

My favorite boss would probably be Ganondorf.  He is somewhat of a challenge.  One of the most challenging in the game anyway.  I have fun fighting him, even though it takes the entire game to get to him.

I would like to see more dark types, and more ghost types.  There aren't really a whole lot of these Pokemon, and I think that it would be good to see some more.

I remember that.  My first caught Pokemon was a Pidgey in Pokemon Red.  And I trained that thing throughout the entire game and made it beast!

Including all of the multiple forms, there are probably that many Pokemon, but there are only 649 Pokemon. 

The Pokemon that I would choose would probably be Metagross.  It is by far my favorite Pokemon out of all of the generations.

I would say that my guardian would be Dialga.  It is Steel/Dragon, incredibly powerful, and controls time.
