I've been coming here for a few years, haven't really posted on the forums, but I have scanned through them on a fairly regular basis.? Nothing really awesome to mention except for actually finding Vizzed.? Glad to see the 1bil coming close.? Congratulations David, and Congratulations Vizzed on a huge milestone.? I hope it only gets bigger and better from here.

EDIT......Got to looking...and it was exactly 3 years ago today that I signed up to be a member, 1 billions views would be an awesome anniversary gift.

I am NOT looking forward to this. I haven't for the most part thoroughly enjoyed a FF game since 7.

8...hated the draw system, kinda liked the weapon upgrade system, just not enough weapons. story was good though, big bonus there.

9...loved 9. Just an awesome game, yea it looked cartoony, but who cares, it was beautiful in its own right.

10...hated, story was ok, way way to linear. Sphere grid sucked horribly, levels...oh that's right what levels, not cool with an RPG without levels. blitz-ball....please don't make me hang myself, the game was easy, but just sucked, maybe because I hate soccer, I dunno.

10-2...big step in the right direction, loved the dress sphere system(mostly cause of the shout out to a class system), loved that levels were back, and the story...well...could have used some major work, the story was...blah.

11...not going there, MMO enough said.

12...decent, beat it but never really got to get into the game after that...to...linear, yea it was kinda open, but the game kept pushing in a linear direction to hard I felt, other than that, pretty good game.

12-2(can't remember the name)Never played so not sure what to think on this one.

13...haven't played, but heard mixed reviews from friends.

14...not going there, MMO enough said.

Sorry not the Lens of Truth, my favorite item is the Wooden Sword. What person doesn't wanna beat up people and destroy bushes with a Wooden Sword?

Next person's favorite item is the Mirror Shield.

Sounds like a good idea to me, but if there are more important things to do then by all means get them done, it was just something I was wondering about. I was more or less just trying to come up with something to talk about and figured why not ask about the stock market since it could be a great way to pass the time. If the big boss is wanting to automate it then sweet, makes things easy, if not and he needs someone to look over it everyday, its possible that someone would be willing to do so. *looks at previous post* Ahhh, here we are, a volunteer already sounding like Donkey.....pick me pick me, oh pick me.

Anybody else have any thoughts on the idea....mostly looking for something from the big boss on this so we all have a "my word is law" idea of what is going on.

I understand that, was just wondering if that was the only reason or if other things had come up. Just one of those things I was curious about.

This is more of a question to everyone that is able to answer than anything else.

Any new information on the Vizzed Stock Market?

I'd be willing to play the market if it was available, I did see that it had been shut down back at the end of 2009 but really haven't seen anything since that, I went back a little ways in the forums and didn't see anything suggesting otherwise.

That is why I thought about starting this thread so that multiple people could respond or even come up with ideas on how to get it working if the big boss wanted them.

I was looking over the official playstation forums earlier today due to getting a message that the network was undergoing maint. What I found out was that Sony had a malicious attack on the PSN. Thats why they shut it down so they could fix it and get everything running the way they want it too. We should be able to know more if need be, let me go ahead and post whats going on as an official thing so people might actually know.

This was posted yesterday;

An external intrusion on our system has affected our PlayStation Network and Qriocity services. In order to conduct a thorough investigation and to verify the smooth and secure operation of our network services going forward, we turned off PlayStation Network & Qriocity services on the evening of Wednesday, April 20th. Providing quality entertainment services to our customers and partners is our utmost priority. We are doing all we can to resolve this situation quickly, and we once again thank you for your patience. We will continue to update you promptly as we have additional information to share.

We sincerely regret that PlayStation Network and Qriocity services have been suspended, and we are working around the clock to bring them both back online. Our efforts to resolve this matter involve re-building our system to further strengthen our network infrastructure. Though this task is time-consuming, we decided it was worth the time necessary to provide the system with additional security.

We thank you for your patience to date and ask for a little more while we move towards completion of this project. We will continue to give you updates as they become available.

Due to this, I would probably say that yea, they will reimburse for the downtime. I'm just glad its being fixed and they are actually taking the time to try for improvements too, I know the last few weeks I've had some issues with accessing the network. Nothing to major, for example when pulling up the store to see whats new, I would have to exit and reenter 2 or 3 times just for it to finally come up. Maybe this will fix that too.

Hope everyone with a PS3 on these forums finds this information useful.

Since it seems everything is headed to 3d, I can't wait for the.....drum roll please.....Holodeck. The one system I've been waiting years for already, and will continue to wait years more for, and possibly never get.

Long Live the Holodeck.

My favorite game character.....that is a tough choice, I have lots of characters that I've enjoyed. I would probably have to go with Ryu from Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter.

Reason being is that his personality and attitude for the setting he was in. Just an amazing character that wasn't willing to just crawl into a corner and die like the rest of the people in the game, he wanted to do what needed to be done to protect everyone, not like the other Ryu's who were in it for selfish reasons, like protecting their sister, or finding out about their past.

Ryu from Dragon Quarter also had the 2nd coolest dragon transformation, I loved the dragon form, except for the d-counter of course. Coolest dragon form would have to be Pygmy from Breath of Fire 3, he's just so cute, and has one hell of a magma breath.

I'm starting this poll because I think it should be optional. I love the first person view, but because Demon's souls was so brutal, I feel it should be optional.

I've played the King's Field series releases(in the US anyway), King's Field, King's Field 2, King's Field: The Ancient City, and the spiritual successor Demon's Souls(which I still have, and have only beaten once due to time constraints). I love the series, great story, great game play, and for their times, great graphics.

Anyone else have any thoughts on the subject?

wow....its been over a month and not a single vote...guess maybe nobody knows about the series or nobody cares.

I suppose this thread can be deleted if nobody posts then.

Last time I checked I was a male, and longest I've logged on a single console game is 600+ hours, Final Fantasy VII, I've went through the game and done everything, chocobo breeding, all weapons, getting a FULL set of master materia for each character, morphing enemies to get stat boosters so I could max out all characters.....done all of that 4 times I can think of. Lots and lots of time spent walking in circles. Next closest would probably be the 200+ I've got logged into Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion.

What I mean is that by looking at where you are in the game, or asking a question or two about what you've recently done in the game, I can tell you where you are in the story and whats going to happen next.

I haven't had a pair of scissors near my head in almost 4 years. Although, I do take a razor to it every other day. Just glad the Fiancee` loves my bald head.

Favorite RPG.....tough choice, I have four that are so close its hard to pick my favorite from them, so I'll just list the four.

Breath of Fire III
Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy VII

I've played all 4 so many times, I can pretty much tell you what your about to do just by looking where your at and maybe asking a question or two.

I don't mind the active battle systems. As for stuff like Dragon Age 2, not so happy with, I could barely deal with Dragon Age Origins battle style. Now I do like the King's Field series, I love those games. Only issue I had with Demon's Souls is there wasn't a first person view, I think it would have made the game a lot better.

Sephitard9001 : The dragon is at the first part of 1-2. I had the same thing happen to me. I got lucky though and read some of the messages and found out that you can stay back and the dragon will swoop down and destroy most of the stuff on the bridges as well as killing most of the enemies(you still get the souls/exp for it too). Made that section a little easier.
