Toothie : Sorry for the late reply. I should had replied sooner. This is why most of the time I don't watch something that will just make me cry, not unless its fairy tail. Recently its been having that. But I can withstand it. Its not something that would always makes me cry.

Blubcreator : Hmm I don't think I have seen anyone of those. I doubt I would though. @.@

I WIn Also : oh...I say in some parts it is. I don't really watch it anymore so I dunno how the scale for that has gone up for. :/

LunarDarkness2 : Yes, that you are right on.

yoshirulez! : Oh yeah....that one I'm gonna stay away from. @.@

Man, I've got to say Full Metal Alchemist, for me. Both of the series were pretty tragic at times, but the first movie, The Conqueror of Shamballa, had me on an emotional roller coaster. There was a part where I was in tears in sadness, then happiness, then back to sadness, in, like, a 10 minute span. That junk was nuts. XD

I'd also say Berserk, again more tragedy. But there are so many times when you get pissed off at stuff, emotional doesn't mean whatever makes you cry, Berserk made me furious, which is why I liked it. XD

I do like the Gundam series, because they're really good at showing the ugliness of war. So, yeah, Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket was pretty emotional. Another reason I get emotional, is because it's the only series that has the MS-18E Kämpfer, which is my favorite mobile suit, like, ever.

Then obviously things like Wolf's Rain and Grave of the Fireflies.

Oh, and Twelve Kingdoms and Soul Hunter. Both are very creative and get pretty philosophical. I tear up, I love it. XD

F. Starr : Yeah that anime got to me. I couldn't even finish watching full metal. I loved it but I couldn't carry on because of how bad it got emotional wise. I never cried I was mostly in shock of things that happened I only cried on one part of the anime which I will not mention most know that part because they cried on that as well. For berserk its not the kind of anime I would watch but I heard its good. gundam is another good one to watch as well. I watched it when I was really young.

I stayed away from wolfs rain for a very good reason. And yes the grave of fireflies really punched me in the heart and made me to cry non stop. I never watched it again from that day. And I haven't heard of the other two before. Twelve kingdoms and soul hunter I mean. I guess those two are another good pair of anime to watch. '-'

It seems like practically every anime I've seen hits me a feels punch at some point. I'm gonna go down my anime-planet watched list and see what jumps out at me. I haven't watched as much anime lately as I used to, so I might not remember super well how I felt when watching stuff, but....

- Grave of the Fireflies (obviously)
- Bokurano (You thought kids piloting giant robots was depressing in Evangelion? This is worse. Every twist makes the situation sadder and more hopeless. Probably the second saddest anime I've seen after Grave of the Fireflies.)
- Millennium Actress (It's not a thoroughly sad movie, but it's emotional in many places. Maybe it's not as good as I remember, but I always recommend this movie to people.)
- everything by Makoto Shinkai (5 cm per second, The place promised in our early days, etc.) (They're basically all about friends/romantic partners being separated.)
- The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (Holy crap, I did not realize what happened in this story beyond the beginning. I cried.)
- Tokyo Godfathers (A great blend of happy, sad, and funny. It's a ridiculous, but also serious rollercoaster of emotion.)

Endings/only specific parts of these, mostly because I got extra invested in the stories so anything would be emotional:
-Cowboy Bebop (Ending and the episode about Faye's past)
-Code Geass (Ending mostly; I wasn't as crazy about this show as everyone else was, but there were some good parts for sure)
-Death Note (Many of the biggest twists / betrayals / deaths)
-FullMetal Alchemist[Brotherhood] (My favorite series of all time, so pretty much everything that happened was emotional in some way.)
-Gungrave (I forget this show, but I remember it being emotional somewhat.)
-Monster (Another of my favorites, but it's also been a while so I don't remember which parts specifically were emotional.)
-Samurai Champloo (Quite a few surprisingly emotional episodes in this one. They suck you in with humor and action, but then stuff gets serious.)
-Gurren Lagann (Most frequent emotion here is wanting to do a battle cry and charge epicly at something, but there are some pretty sad parts too.)
-The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (mostly close to the end)
-The Wind Rises (mostly around the end)
-Wolf Children (mostly around the end)
-Toradora! (Ditto)

Well, that post got longer than I expected and I hardly even went into details on them.

Linkums : Oh wow....you got quite a list here. There are at least some or most I have seen from that list. Are those the ones you watched? Or have you seen a lot more? Did you ever cry by watching certain ones? Because this is the longest list I have seen. @.@

Eniitan : I've seen a fair bit more also that were less good and/or less emotional. A handful of those I listed are movies though, so it wasn't like they were all a huge time investment. And I generally prefer series that aren't longer than 30 episodes. Monster, FMA, and Death Note were just good enough for the time investment of them being so long (relative to what I usually watch).

Here's everything I've watched: http://www.anime-planet.com/users/Linkums/anime/watched
You can also switch to watching/stalled/dropped for things I didn't finish. Like I said, I hardly watch much anime any more since I spend so much time watching Twitch streams instead, but... yeah, I watched quite a bit from 2006-2011ish (during end of high school and college).

Linkums : Dang it, I believe I didn't mention Gungrave, one of my most favorite animes ever. Yeah, it starts off pretty emotional, then a bunch of good stuff happens, then a bunch of terrible stuff. Followed by super emotional spoiler stuffs near the end.

I did also want to mention Hunter X Hunter. Just seeing how in-depth the character's emotions are. Seeing them fail, seeing them get beaten, coming back stronger, more determined, always trying to get better. It was very moving. Then pretty much everything with Kurapika. XD

Ais***eruze Baby got me worked up at times also. I adored the relationship between Kippei and Yuzuyu, but hated the relationship with Kippei and Kokoro.

EDIT: HA! Censorship. XD

F. Starr : I just don't like looking for emotional anime to watch. Because I don't see the point for me. I would see them in some animes that I can live by and allow when it comes my way when watching certain anime. But I don't like to actually go, find one watch them then end up crying. I'm not the sort of person who would do that. '-'

Yeah, I don't really look for emotional stuff as well. If it appeals to me, I'll watch it. I've just seen tons and tons of animes, and know which ones made me feel a certain way. You may notice that when I talk about anime, I only tend to mention older animes, to me those are the best, as most of these newer animes really don't interest me at all. They spend WAY too much time with fan service. I don't mind a little fan service, but they have entire series of animes whose sole intention is fan service... And since it works, they're going to keep making them... Which they do... Ugh.

And just for the people who may not know, fan service is anything done to please the audience, like references to other real life things, or maybe having cameos of characters from another show, but, it seems like, it's mostly (like quite a few newer animes) used in a more erotic way, characters in bathing suits, etc... You know.

F. Starr : Yeah that I can understand. Which is why I go and look for the ones I would tend to watch and all. Those ones keep me happy. I already know about life but the last thing I want is an emotional anime bringing me down on each episode for no reason. Which is also why I tend to avoid them at all costs. '-'

Does Romance count? Because Ichigo 100% had a lot of emotional moments in it, as well as Fruits Basket.

If we're talking about other categories though Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood had a giant emotional journey packed into it.
Also there were some moments in Naruto Shippuden that made me personally feel strongly emotionally.

Since it came I can bear with those ones. But as I said before I can't bear the ones that has it with every single episode while I would want to try and enjoy watching the anime. '-'
