Ok, I was browsing around IGN earlier ago today and I seen an article that just made my mind you know what itself.
Ok, get this, PETA (I would say a lot of things about this group but swearing isn't allowed on the site) has made a server on Minecraft, and I told myself, you know how stupid this is, you know how many griefers out out there + hackers + how many people hates PETA, that isn't a good combination.

Personally, as being one of the Minecraft server OPs and  the secondary creator of the Vizzed Server, personally, our server does get griefed here and there, even with the Grief Protection plug-in, and we have a small server (only Vizzed users know about the server). imagine PETA's server and how many people hates them, bad idea.
Their server is set to release on November 15th, but I bet it will be destroyed by November 16th.

Bahahahahahahahaha! Save all the piggies and cows and sheep and horses and never kill anything again! This. Is. PETAcraft!

I have a plan. Since i bet they won't be killing animals or mobs I'll just get some people to say that the in-game farming uses animals for labour.

It comes out tomorrow. AlphaOmegaSin did a video on it today and it sounds really dumb. I guess they don't realize how much they are hated by a lot of people.

calebjudah : Exactly, what happened to Minecraft Denmark, and it don't have as much hate to the creators than how many people hate PETA, and if you look at it, if you though the griefing of Minecraft Denmark was bad, imagine how it will be griefed in PETA's "Animal Utopia".

This is the one griefing I will enjoy seeing.

I'm tempted to buy a legit Minecraft account so I can get on thier server and watch the griefing happen live...

Its  sad, because I myself am a Minecraft server OP... But Im so tempted to go on there tomorrow and join the greifing. This is the only time I actually want to break to rules and get banned from anything, since usually im a good girl and make fun of mrfe.

Although it makes completely and utterly no sense as to why they would make this server...

I have a severe distaste for PETA, but I would personally never endorse griefing and/or hacking their server.

I keep thinking of the fact that it might be one (or more) of the employee's kids who would be the one taking time to design it, or one of their hires who is an avid minecrafter.

They might not even be particularly aware of PETA's rap-sheet, and I'm pretty sure they'd feel pretty terrible if perhaps weeks of work got wrecked, especially if it was a kid setting it up.

Of course, I'm speaking with little knowledge of how specifically they're going about this. I just know that hate destroys, and I'd rather not see minecrafters do something in haste that might be regretted later.

EideticMemory : Yeah, I know the feeling of getting griefed. Not fun at all, lol. I wasn't being sarcastic with my last post, though it looks like it in hindsight. I'll probably check it out, just to see what kind of rules and stuff it has, but I won't get involved with it.

I'm fine if others mess with the server, but it might be best for Vizzed not to coordinate anything against it. =P
