Fireproof : It shouldn't be a problem if multiple people upload at once. The videos are uploaded directly to youtube.

earthwarrior : If it's a problem with uploading to the same youtube account, could that be an issue? I only ask because some websites seem to slow down when a lot of users are doing the same thing. I don't actually know tho.

Edit: I am officially up to 8 hours and 40% on 1 2 hour video upload for PSX. I suspect to have this uploaded in... 10 more hours? xD (Slow internet upload speed)

Lol I'm backlogging on videos because the connection speed is slowing down. My hours were looking good until for some reason, I haven't been able to get a video out (Sitting on a 45 minute video for several hours now, and I have several more in the line-up lol).

Davideo7: I was wondering, is there any chance to make an exception for titles of the RPG genre when it comes to the 8 hours limit?

The thing is, I was planning to make complete runs for some RPG's, but with an 8 hours limit there's no way this can be happening, RPGs take way longer than that to beat. That means we won't be seeing a lot of videos of RPG games and the few that we do see, will be incomplete anyways.

I could do other types of games and stick with 8 hours limit, which is fine to me, but I just wanted to post complete playthroughs / walkthroughs for a variety of RPGs, rather than stopping halfway through because the 8 hours limit will make the rest invalid.

Davideo7 : Two questions:

The first is basically the same question another user had. The 8 hour limit is great for deterring people from showing us endless Call of Duty game play, but it restricts those of us playing RPG's. I'm playing through Fire Emblem, and there is no way I'll be able to finish the game before the 8 hour limit is up. Is there a way that you could waive the limit for RPGs?

The second is a situation I'm seeing with my youtube videos. Currently I have uploaded 8 videos, but I haven't received credit for four of them. They are on the youtube channel, but only three of the four videos show up on my Vizzed games page. Also, the images have broken icons on them, but when I click on it to get to the youtube video, the videos play just fine. As for as the youtube page itself, the videos are on it and I can watch them. Do I need to re-upload the videos I've already posted?

Davideo7 : Just so you're aware, there's issues with uploading videos. I'm sure you're aware but this situation is bothersome as uploading videos is to compete in this competition is nearly impossible. As much as I'd like to compete for the cash prize, this hindrance is rather problematic and preventing my videos from completing upload.

My internet upload speed is dramatically slow, 750kbps, so I try to upload the video overnight. I've completed a 80 minute video on 25 frames a second resulting in about 2-4gb of video through Hypercam. I transfer the video(s) to MovieMaker when I need to combine videos. I transfer that video to Freemake to convert to AVI, which usually results in a 400-800mb video. Uploading takes a few hours but when I've uploaded at least half of my video (50% or more) I go to bed. I wake up and Vizzed had redirected off of the Video sumission page. This has happened twice now when it shouldn't.

I don't really want to complain but this is a problem that I'd like to see brought to your attention. My computer won't go into screen saver or sleep mode for 5 hours, which is plenty of extra time to complete the video submission, especially after 50%. Now I don't know what's going on or why it's acting like this but I'd really like some help, if possible. If possible, can you make it so we who are uploading can resume uploads from where the video last uploaded? Again, if possible, if there's a way to make it so we can continue these uploads from where it left off, that would probably be best. It's tiresome trying to participate in a competition that doesn't allow you to compete, so I hope you can understand the frustration.

Oh boy, I will try to upload as much as I can, but it will be a PAIN because my upload speed is only 0.4.

Fireproof : I'm having upload problems too, and I'm not even playing PSX games with Hypercam. I finally got some Viz and points credited to my name, two days later, but there's still an hour-long video missing from my archives, and it's posted onto the youtube page. I think they'll figure out how to fix all this eventually, but it's kind of difficult to make it happen right now.

Seeing as the lead is only 58k seconds i can still catch up in that time cause i can put out a lot of videos fast.

Davideo7 : Could you please give a response about the question both pray75 and myself made? I gotta know this before recording further on said RPG's. I'd love to post complete runs, but if that means not competing then I'll have to drop them halfway through.

Davideo7 : My files and stuff are fine, but the last 2 that I uploaded straight to the vizzed account came up with 0 minutes and wouldn't play.

For some reason, my videos won't play on the games page unless I upload to mine first. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm dropping out. Not only the main factor for me has been ignored so far, I was also planning to upload all my videos at once on the last week, but today I decided to test that out after seeing all the complaints from other users and I can't seem to upload anything, after filling the upload information the next page where the uploading takes place won't load. I think it's something on my end, but regardless, I'm dropping out.

I recorded a video with the RGR Plugin that was an hour and 55 minutes long. I used Freemake and successfully converted it, but I couldn't delete the original .mov file. When I tried to delete it, a window popped up saying "discovering items." A green bar started to fill up at the top of my Windows Explorer window but it never reached the end. The "discovering items" window stayed open for 5 minutes (longer than usual), so I clicked Cancel. Cancelling took longer than usual, so I opened the Task Manager with CTRL + SHIFT + ESC and closed the window with the Task Manager.

The file is taking up 9.78GB of space. Does anyone know of any programs I can use to delete it?

EDIT: Nevermind, I was able to delete the file after having the window open for about an hour.

Barathemos : I wouldn't split it. If you compress it then it could take around a half hour depending on your internet speed.

mvhupsel : What do you think the limit would need to be increase to for RPG support? I mean you could still upload the entire RPG gameplay but only a portion of it would count.

Well, I just played about an hour and few mins of Marvel VS Capcom  and just figured out that it's less then 500,000 seconds... 
Anyway, this might be stupid, but can you pay me with Steam Wallet money (using prepaid cards) if I get enough seconds?
Also, can we use multiple games in one video?

Oh and one more thing (lol), can we put them in parts? cuz the bigger the YouTube video it is, it takes even WAAAAAAAAAAAAY longer.
