May be the only motion control-based game I will bother with if it has that. Besides, I wanna see if Disney had the guts to actually let the nightmare-like character designs be in the game. If they let Mickey be in a game where you fight things that give children nightmares, why not give him his own game to raise Hell with?!

I do wish they'd change the name. I mean... Epic Mickey? That sounds like skater slang for brain damage. Is this game about Mickey seeing the world as steampunk due to brain damage? Seriously. May as well be a tie in for the game Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Comparing between the very first outlook on the game and to how it is now, I say they didn't get too carried away with the steampunk style, but weren't all that gutsy to really do anything else with it either. Ya know, since Mickey right now is...[probably] has the kids as his biggest fanbase, it would make some sense that they wouldn't want to scare them off as to the way it might have been.

...It would be a bit neat if Mickey was a little more badass than how he is now, and more than onto the oncoming game as well, but just thinking about those possibilities eh?

sdutop : I knew Disney would choose to wimp out. They always do. They are so hypocritical, though. I mean, the enemies you fight in Kingdom Hearts aren't nightmarish at all? Just look at the singing level in KH2. Okay, seriously, I like Disney, but what the freak? They let Mickey fight what a child would think was horrifying. Must I even post a picture of some of the heartless and nobodies? Let's see... The image of a bunch of shadow from their first appearence on Destiny Island dogpiling on me kinda makes me wanna vomit...

*sigh* Disney, you need to man up a bit. This wimpy attitude isn't cool to kids, either.

Maybe they did wimp out a bit, but if ya did a bit of research behind the game, you'll find out it doesn't have to be so nightmarish. Besides, it's being made by Warren Spector, and since he's a die heart Mickey fan, he chose not to scare his customers away with gory effects and creepy details.

Have you done the research on it. If not, I recommend you do. Yes there isn't any violence or adult themes, but hey, that's not the full point of most of the games out there!
