I use Adblock Plus on Firefox. I've been meaning to install it on Chrome as well, but I've never gotten around to it. I'd also like to add that I do use the white list for websites I support, and I suggest you do the same if you don't already.

I use the extension called ad block plus on my Google chrome browser. I often use it on this site sometimes because it's annoying to have those sponsor ads in the middle of a post or on your profile. I am considering not using my ad blocker plus extension on this site though because the site makes money for the Retro game room with ad revenue. The only down side to using ad block plus is sometimes you get pop up ads that originate from the ad blocker extension that's suppose to block ads.

kirbmanboggle : You have to get a legitimate ad blocker. I suggest Adblock+ for Google Chrome.

Crimson Pheonix : Interesting. I actually use the same ad blocker but haven't faced its ads yet.

-----

On an unrelated note, I've been using adblock+ to block annoying pictures, whether they are a user's profile picture, or one in a thread that I frequent.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
