Resident Evil is all American horror, in other words, take a chainsaw and run around slaughtering zombies

Silent Hill is REAL horror, being stuck alone in an area with several things the hate you, and every time you end up fighting them you're at a clear disadvantage, thus creating the feeling of true vulnerability, and if you feel you're vulnerable, you feel a lot more scared in a horror type of atmosphere, resident evil doesn't grant you that feeling of weakness because you can easily kill everything with one shot

i would've picked silent hill, but lately their games haven't been as scary as usual. resident evil gets a few jumps out of me more than silent hill for some reason so resident evil is my pick.

I vote for Silent Hill, just for the Fact, that Silent Hill makes me wanna crap my pants and i got used to all the Resident Evil stuff, nothing really surprises me anymore...i played the last one on XBOX 360 and it was okay, not that much Resident Evil as i knew back then... so i go with Silent Hill, the monsters are insane and it scares me way more than RE !!!

Silent Hill rocks and i hope they can somehow make a second movie that tops the first one, because the movie was also amazing !

i like silent hill better, both gamees are good but i still think silent hill is better.
