I've created a page that shows all the details of every action, a bunch of details regarding points you've earned, and a leaderboard.

Note that this page is a little strenuous due to the leaderboard so please don't sit there and refresh it over and over again (which is why I made it so that only logged in users can view the leaderboard). If it becomes a problem, I'll remove the leaderboard from the page.

You can also find it by clicking a user's CP on the memberlist and you can find it from your own profile by clicking your own Contribution Points.

Please note that your Contribution Points and the points based on actions on that page don't match. This is because today is when I made it so that the script keeps track of how many points you have based on each action. So this means that if you tallied up the points based on actions, it'll probably be less than your total points.

Have you considered some kind of tour de vizzed with these? Its a way to possibly get quite a bit of help to vizzed.

oh alright.  I guess this answers my other question as well.  haha.
By the way, check out your post.  All kinds of funny symbols in it, yet in the post you made in response to me in the other thread... no symbols.

It seems like the symbols error is still there, but in selective areas.

Did have a question about reviews and walkthroughs. Say someone submitted one and got points for it, but it was later removed from the review/walkthrough by a mod for whatever reason. Would their points subtract? Not really important, just curious. I actually meant to ask that a long time ago when they were only staff actions.

rcarter2 : Yeah I'll find a way to make it so you can remove their Contribution Points. What I'm thinking I might do is make it so that if you mark their words as ignored, it automatically does it.

Can we earn points from every action now? I wasn't 100% sure.

In the leader board, the action of "Game Comment Removed" has a set of three dots instead of a number in parenthesis, and these three dots get placed in the next line of text.  It disrupts the structure of your table there.

earthwarrior : That's a good idea, I'll probably do that. Not all of the actions are up yet but I added a bunch more today including points for posting.

Singelli : Not sure what you mean, could you take a screenshot?

See on the right side, where it says "Game Content Removal"?  Right now, the cell is placed above an empty one, so it's difficult to tell that anything is off.  However, you can see the '...' below the line?  It stays on that next line and spaces the rows and cells out kind of oddly when it's in another cell.  (The cells have shifted around as I've done various types of CP actions.)

Not sure game commenting is working. I made three comments on Super Mario World, and did not recieve the 0.3 Contribution Points for it. Just thought you would like to know, in case other users are having this issue.

thing1 : It looks like the last comment you made on a game was like 8 months ago, points for commenting just become available yesterday. If you're talking about the chat window, points aren't awarded for that.

Singelli : It'd be the accumulation between 12 AM and 12 AM central time. It looks like the shift happened for you just fine but maybe it happens at 1 AM instead of 12 AM.

I don't think it even happens at 1am.  If you see my post, I made that around 2:30 am, after looking at the leader board.  It seems as though things have moved over NOW though, so it either moved over at 3am or 4am, I'd imagine.

Singelli : Ok I see what happened. It's based on my 1st visit of the day. Usually I have the site opened up with the page refreshing every minute. This is beneficial for a few reasons:
1. Helps me keep an eye on the site when I'm not at my desk
2. As soon as midnight hits, I have a ton of tasks that take place that are based on my user account

oh okay.  And wow... I never knew you could code something to happen when you log in or whatnot.  That's amazing.  LOL  I could never understand coding... tough stuff!  I admire your ability to understand it.  ^.^

Singelli : Since you're a math teacher, I think you'd be able to pick up coding. It requires you to think in a certain way, it requires you to understand new concepts and that's pretty similar to math.

love this update and really glad it has been implemented so quickly. This is going to make staff and member evaluations so much easier
