I would have to say that my favorite of the two would have to be guitar hero because it has better songs. But if you play a real life instrument its much better and I play on a full drumset.

Rockband is better in some ways. Rockband has better multiplayer. Guitar Hero has better songs. Rockband has some Guitar Hero songs, and actually makes you play the songs more like they should be played. I guess it all depends on what you like more.

I don't really like either. I really hated guitar hero when it first came out for the fact that it doesn't really teach you how to play the guitar...but for some reason eveyone still loves it and plays it. I even met one person who thought just because they played guitar hero, they could go and play a REAL guitar just as easily....what a noob!

I like Guitar Hero because of the look it has to it when you play. I'm not a fan of the skinny notes. Rock Band does have more songs though. Without the ability to download songs Guitar Hero in that sense would be blown away. There are more Guitar Heros too so that might balance it too with Rock Band. I like Guitar Hero more overall.

I fell in love with Rock Band Beatles Edition...that's the best game out there in that genre i guess !

Not only are the songs amazing, but also opens the eyes and ears of younger kids to the amazing music of the past and maybe let them forget about all that stupid stuff music which is on the radio by now for a moment and live up the old days for a bit hahaha...

I played Rock Band the other day for the first time. I was pretty bad but I really enjoyed the game. I was on guitar, and we had drums and a vocalist. It was fun. We started our own band and everything. I have no idea when we'll have time to play again but it was fun to try out. I watch that and can't imagine how people play some of those hard songs. insane
