We DON'T want clone characters. We want original move-sets.

Either Metal Sonic or Knuckles. Metal sonic is plain cool to have and Knuckles was made to fight, at least in my view. For Metal sonic, he could have moves like his V Maximum Overdrive and the ring spark field. Don't know so much about any other moves though. If they somehow find a way for other attacks, his final smash could be something like Metal madness/overlord or Metal Sonic Kai (Knuckles Chaotix final boss for those who didn't know). As for Knuckles, he could have lots of punch attacks, I guess, as well as his glide. They could use the climbing ability, but I think it could be a bit cheap. And the final smash, I guess Super or Hyper Knuckles from S3&K? And please, no Shadow. He is already too overrated.

Honestly, I'd pick a character from one of Sega's other series. Sonic isn't the only game series they have, and having Snake and Sonic opens up a lot of new possibilities.

Well I honestly don't think they should add anymore sonic characters since it's a Nintendo game and I just see it as a guest appearance. But if I were to choose one I would say that either Silver or Tails would be the best option. They are the only other sonic characters that I could see have different combat styles that may not be boring. Silver I think would be the better option since he has psychic powers, possibly give him more variety and Tails would also seem to work just because his powers would probably fit in pretty well with the super smash bros. world, like how he flies for example (would work like Kirby). I can also see tails final smash in my head as him getting into the tornado and flying it around and shooting down other players (a little like fox and wolf's final smash I guess?). Long story short I think they are the only other characters that would work in the game without either completely sucking or just being dull (I could see shadow being the exact same as sonic).

His name is Knuckles. Who else would you put in a fighting game? Granted, Shadow or Silver could have interesting movesets, but Knuckles has seniority over them, so if it came down to one of the three, that's who I would choose.

I was hopeful for knuckle and he is my favorite character. So I looking forward is knuckle is going to be in smash bros. It really my opinion and I just hope is come next. Then is be really awesome and cool.

Dunno, certainly not any Super Characters, because those are all obviously Final Smashes, if that mechanic will even exist in the upcoming Smash Bros game. But if I were to choose a Sonic Character to be added, it would be Silver and Shadow, even though Silver would be EXTREMELY OP, or Nerfed, maybe.

Your poll is weird. I don't see Shadow the Hedgehog on there.

I think tails would be the most deserving for a spot as a character in Super Smash Bros. He would make a pretty cool character and he's final smash would probably have something to do with machinery.
