I think I'll make a solid addition.
Taki From Soul Calibur.
She is all business and has no problems doing anything to get the mission Complete. (In many ways she reminds me of a mature version of The Female Protagonist from "Ninja Scroll". That movie depicted a child. This game Depicts a woman and the two are very similar. I like to consider the Soul Calibur World as a Different Dimention that Earth World or other world Beings can stumble on . Like the weapons of Soul Edge or Calibur can only exist in-between worlds. Or something.)

Lets see.
We have two new Entries.
"Kasumi" again and... (Yeah) He says he can not find a more "PG" rated Image than her Blue Uniform?
He obviously never played D.O.A. 1,2,3, or 4 (I haven't had the chance to play part 5 yet. Sue me.) Nor has he seen the "movie of D.O.A." (Not the best show on earth. It's on par with "Charlie's Angels".) Nor has he watched the Video Link to "Monty Oum's Dead Fantasy". Oh well.
I have to hope he likes the character that has a strong sense of family and a real "No one left behind" kind of scruple or two. That and the fact that she goes on a clone hunting binge from time to time eliminating any ..."Competing" replacement. (My Fingers are Crossed.)

The next one mentioned is "Bayoneta".
I would Load "Green Scorpions" top ten list. BUT I think that is where he got the Idea to make his selection from anyway. (Spoiler Alert... "Green Scorpions" list ends with Bayoneta as #1.)
I like the idea of Bayoneta. She is comical and I think most people get the humor.

Back to my fresh pick of the day.
I think I'll go back to blonds for a day. I really liked "Celes" from "Final Fantasy 6".
Call me old fashioned. A General that goes Rogue some how ends up being hot.
In Anime it is often that a Guy who has low rank will turn traitor to his chief commander because he sees that the cause is Evil. (zzzzz. Snore. Boring.)
But a General?
Someone who has allot to loose?
THAT is HOT.
Toss in the slight detail that she is not too bad for the eyes?

On topic : Heres one for you : Leaf from Pokemon Leaf Green and Fire red.
(known as green in the manga (blue in the Japanese versions.)

O.K. a new R.P.G. Entry.
No details on why she's liked but that's Fine. Most people in this site are pokemon fans so I am certain they can fill me in on the details.

Something about the multiple Samus Entries that sparked my interest in all the other blonds.
I decided to continue with looking for other Good Characters Popular or otherwise to broaden expectations a little.
I was going to go with "Aya" From "Parasite Eve" Series.
BUT
I had a change of heart.
I will make the Entry with Cammy from Street Fighter for my protagonist of the day.
She has a wonderful story that is very interesting.
Once a servant of evil.
Now an agent of it's very destruction.
Add a Cup of Brainwashing (honestly some of the characters stories are like reading resipies).
Then Blend till subject is so angry she could destroy an army with her bare hands.
Kinda makes you wonder though. What Brought her back to her senses?

Samus Aran is the obvious choice, and I do love her and the Metroid series. Honestly, I can't think of that many female protagonists besides her; Chell from Portal isn't really much of a character, and I've not played enough of Beyond Good & Evil to comment on Jade's quality as a protagonist. I'm aware of Final Fantasy VI having a well-regarded female protagonist, but I haven't played it before. So, yeah, I guess I'll go with Samus like just about everyone else in the thread.

Hey, Our first "Portal" mention.

I know how much people love "Portal". Somehow I knew it would end-up in here.

For my new choice of the day I decided to take a break from the Blonds again to add a little ..."Spice."

I miss the wonderful wild hair colors Japan puts on the heads of their characters. You need earphones just to look at all the wild colors.

I have one very special pick for today.

"Leona" from "the King Of Fighters" series.
She Grew up a Merc's Child. ("Hidern".)
For some reason she got all the attention the first year she appeared.
"Product of the 1990's?" Yes and No.
She hit the game scene in the 1990's. Yes.
No. She did not sport overt adult humor or themes.
Not allot of story to this one that I can find easily. (S.N.K. mythos is hard to come by in America. We have some of the games but not all of the lore. One year ..."King of Fighters Neo Wave"... had NO story.)
I grew up a Soldiers child myself so you can sort of imagine some of the strict manner she might have grew up.
BUT...
Her dad is titled "Merc." in one game, and that opens up a "new can of worms."
There are plenty of King Of Fighters Games Here on Vizzed so I think we should all find out what more we can. On our own.
Leona Has my pick of the day for Brutal Beauty that some how kept her story on a need to know basis.

I not sure if I am allowed to post again, but another one of my favorites right now is Lara Croft. She is pretty attractive but I like here because she is like a female Indiana Jones, and like Samus she can hold her own. Plus compared to Samus she fells like she is a human, to me it makes her more relate-able, I E she can do all these amazing things without a battle suit. She is smart, Athletic, and persistent, and she seems to do it because she loves it, not for money. This maybe nostalgia talking but I like her and her games better than Nathan Drake, to me his personality is annoying( no everyman can do what he does). But looking at the next Tomb Raider game, Lara has been through a lot, suffered through pain and fear, but in the end she made it through as survivor, and a stronger person. I just feel bad because it fells like Lara Croft and her series is really underrated, it makes me sad that a strong women like her is usually seen as a sex symbol, and not as a character.

Hearing a mention of Laura Croft being a Favourite is a breath of fresh air.
I see her as a sister or a cousin. (Rather than a Sex symbol. In My Opinion.)Never Played her games.(Sue me.)

Tifa is pretty cool and I always have her on my team when I play Final Fantasy VII. Sophia Esteed from Star Ocean Till the End of Time is a very good character as well that I like using on my team.

Very little was said about these girls.

I love the Rarity and Variety.

I have to request that a slight idea of reasons why these characters are appealing.
The games stated would require me to invest around 400 hours to investigate to discover what makes these people interesting.

I really liked how "Jill" was a well thought out idea. Instead of being dramatically weaker to the male counterpart in the First game,... They designed the characters with different Pros and Cons. One has more Storage, One can play the piano, One can mix Chemicals, and One can Pick Locks.
........... Why would anyone play with Chris in that game?
Anyway I loved the progress that was made in games when "Jill" from "Resident Evil" entered the game scene.
