In Earthbound, I saw Picky get a critical hit for 2hp (rather than his usual 1) when the boss had exactly 2hp left. Kinda cool.

The ending to Super Mario 64. That was the very first game I ever beat, and I remember how hard it was. I remember the hours I spent collecting as many stars as I could and how much time I spent on the final boss alone. Most of all, I remember the amazing feeling I had when I finally defeated him. I couldn't have been any more than six or seven years old, so to me it was almost like I was myself the hero. Whenever I look back at those ending credits and that final screen with the cake, all those feelings suddenly come back to me for a very brief amount of time, and it's one of the most blissful things ever.

Mine is in Final Fantasy VI (III in America) when I am fighting kefka at the top of the floating crater. Just as I am about to  "beat the game", the world is nearly destroyed and a whole new chapter begins. What a twist!

I think that my favourite video game moment is getting Silent Assassin rank in every mission in any Hitman game on hardest difficulty. I was always very proud of myself about that
