I would say kanto 1 but hoenn and jhoto are good too but after that it just seemed like they stopped caring and the Pokémon just looked bad.

I agree with you Jew_Fro my favorite generation is the Kanto one. Because it first introduces the Pokémon world and it shows how Ash first met Pikachu and it also shows that Pikachu didn't always like Ash. I've always had to see or read the beginning it's always been a big thing to me.
