I just realized that I didn't say the first thing I did;
Spoiler:
I took all the captials (since the first paragraph is funk-a-dacious). It came out as "YOUHAVEHOSENPOOUITRYSOMETHINHELSE(end of strange capitalization)WIOETRLFIAITSITIIIIHITIIAHWMI", which I took as "YOU HAVE TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE", since I couldn't really make sense out of the rest of it.
Since returning to this thread after the weekend, I realize that it might actually mean something else. "HOSEN" could be "CHOSEN" (You have chosen POOUI try something else). "POOUI" could possibly be "POORLY" (You have chosen poorly try something else). Looking at the capitals backwards, I see that there might be another hidden message to decipher that looks almost like "I'm watching it is if blahblahblah" (loose decipher ).
Anyways, I have homework to do (now that the break is over), so I will have to look at this later. I know that I am probably pretty far off for now, I'm just not looking at this enough to determine whether I am on the right track or not.

dagedude : yeah, your first guess was a lot closer, counting-wise. I know how annoying it can be to have to count all those letter again, being in the same situation before. Have you tried copying the puzzle, and using the arrow keys to count all the letters (excluding the spaces, commas and any other punctial symbol), while high-lighting the ones you have already found?
