My favorite is to use the tomahawks because there harder to use and take more skill. Whilst with a frag or semtex you get the explosive damage but you only have to be close. Its more of an impact that you had to actually directly hit your enemy.

But I do have frags set up for when you have people camping in corners and by door ways. Just for the fact you can cook them and drop then as you die to get afterlives and revenge on those who tend to treat a game like hide and seek.

Semtex don't really come in to it for me. Although they can be seen as a cross of the two, there just no fun

Tomahawk hands down! I would have to be my favorite throwing object in Black Ops. I love that it has so much force that it sends you enemies flying backwards in humiliation that they got killed by a guy who threw an ax at them in a game mainly based on guns. I think that's pretty cool, which is why I choose TOMAHAWK!!!

I prefer frags because they're plentiful and practical. Also, if you take the time to practice cooking off the fuse you can get to the point to where you can throw a frag with pinpoint accuracy, have it go off as soon as it lands, and take out 3 or 4 enemy soldiers. I've never actually played call of duty series but if I did I'd choose the tomahawk  because they'd seem like an unlikely weapon yet when used they have a good aim at there opponent or target or whatever you try to aim at still it makes a pretty handy weapon for a person to use .

 I prefer the good ol' frag grenade. I like the versatility of it. I can cook it to explode immediately when I need it to and the ability to bounce it has proven very useful to me. And, honestly, my skill with Semtex are iffy at best. Tomahawks? I think I will try to use them eventually, perhaps.

I like to use the frag. I have been doing my best to time the explosions, so the when I throw it at a certain area, hopefully an enemy would fly through the room just as the frag explodes. 

Tomahawk is my second choice, but I have been going classic for a few weeks or so.

Depends on the game that I am playing. If I am playing in a small map with easy confrontations, I will use a tomahawk. It is just faster to use in my opinion, it is fun hearing people rage when they are killed by one of my tomahawks. If the map is a bit larger then of course I would have to use a frag. The explosion damage helps a lot, even if the enemy is wearing flak jacket.
