Honestly, in all respect, I didn't like any of the pokemon. I found them boring.

Anything after Generation 2 was bad. Really. Only the first 2 were any good. That's all I have to say about that.

Oh gawd I gotta say I hated gen 4 the most. D/P/Pt had terrible looking pokemon. I enjoy gen 5 for it's gameplay but the pokemon from gen 4 and five either 1)look fake or 2) make it obvious that they are running out of ideas.

I really dislike Sinnoh the games are ok but the anime is just terrible. =/

My least favorite Pokémon generation is generation 5.

Generation 5 no doubt. Nintendo is running out of ideas for Pokémon. I went on Bulbapedia and checked out the Unova Pokedex, worst excuses for Pokémon. I saw a duck, a coffin and the worst one of all, an ice cream cone. It's like there not even trying anymore.

I feel like a grumpy old man who just can't accept things that are new. But I pretty much never kept track of any Pokemon past the first generation (original 151 Pokemon). I don't know why, but the Pokemon past them just never really interested me much. I tried to get into it, but none of them were able to catch my liking like the originals did. I think it is because they just got too weird and random. The originals were like a twist version of real animals. The newer generation seems more like random little monsters. I don't know. Maybe I am being a grumpy old man who likes the old days.

Gen IV is definitely my least favorite (I can't say anything about V since I never played it and I am too lazy to actually look at all the Pokemon ). When I saw the Pokemon of Gen IV, only a few of them caught my interest. A good number of them were just random evolutions of previous Pokemon, and while some of them are cool (Gallade), most of them aren't very good at all. Plus the gameplay felt really slow compared to the previous generation (like they took a step back into Gen I) and Team Galactic was probably the least interesting out of all the Team ____ groups. I dunno, I just don't like the grunts designs I guess, but I did kinda like Cyrus.

Kinda sucks to see how a good number of people here think Gen III is the worst. Feels like a lot of Pokemon fans skipped over III and moved to IV almost. Gen III is my second favorite Gen.

Most of the time I really disliked when they added new evolutions to pre-existing Pokémon.

EXAMPLES:
Scissor
Electrivire (or however its spelled)
Magmortar
Tangrowth
Lickilicki
Rhyperi-whatever
Whatever Togetic now evolves into.


I mean, sometimes I don't mind them. Steelix is okay. But most of the time I just want to hit the creators for ruining the evolutionary line.

I absolutely DESPISE the 1st generation! Just Kidding =P of course not! I grew up on the 1st generation XD

Anyways back to the manner at hand. I have to say my least favorite generation of pokemon has to be the 4th and 5th. Why? you may ask. Because I don't think they actually measure up to the awesomeness of the 1st and 2nd generations in my opinion, but don't take my word for it. I'm pretty sure more people love the older stuff than the newer stuff that I am certain.

My least favorite would be Generation 3.

My least favorite generation was the 4th gen the Pokémon in it were really boring and I didn't like many of them with a few exceptions like Mismagius and Roserade also the gameplay was horrible in my opinion

I like all of the generations but the one I don't a little bit is the 4th generation Pokémon except for The starters .

Fifth generation just for the simple fact it's the generation I know the least about and I really have no interest in learning about them at this point and time.

I don't like Gen 6. The Pokemon just seem so... different from what I'm used to.

My least favorite generation would have to be 5, because the starters were weak and the storyline was not very interesting to me.

This is the easiest question ever. Generation five was a disgrace to the Pokémon series. I haven't played the games, but it seems like it is the same thing, so I will never buy it, because the Pokémon are so ugly.

 gen5. the pokemon are hilarios. but the only good thing i loike about gen 5 is the bueitifull graphics. and in gen 4, the animé became terrible. oh well at least they got rid of dawn in gen5
