You can get it here:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/retro/VizzedRGRPlugin/LatestBeta.msi

And to test it out after you've installed it (and uninstalled the old version), please go here:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/retro/VizzedRGRPlugin/index.html

Basically I need a bunch of people to thoroughly test it out and give detailed report of how the testing went. The more people we can get to test this out, the sooner we can go live with it.

It would be best to test with the normal game pages as well.

I've tested quite a bit myself and it seems close to a 1.0 release.

I tested all the games and they all ran perfectly fine on their own but when I tried to switch between Sega Consoles and Nintendo consoles the plugin would freeze up.

Switching sega to sega was fine or nintendo to nintendo was fine.... and sometimes between the 2 would work... but not all the time. I would hit close game, wait for the game to close.... and then pick a new system... and most of the time it worked.... just occasionally between systems.

Thanks for that testing. Can you give a little more info about what would happen the times you had problems?

Do you know if it was a problem specific to startup or shutdown?

Does the browser crash? Or does it just hang?

It would be useful to know which system(s) are the ones that have the problem.

the browser would just hang between systems. It would just stop responding.

I had the most trouble with 32x. SNES and N64 loaded fine every time, same with NES except for one type when going from 32x to nes. Genesis loaded fine every time and so did GBA I think....

mostly it was going to and from 32x that I had the most problems.

oh, and not sure if it matters, but I'm on XP and firefox 3.6

Good info... thx

When it hangs, how much time do u give it?

It's possible the hang could be from the server going slow and causing the game state upload to go slow. I think I'll have to add better status so it says something like "downloading state", uploading, done, etc.

I have downloaded the plugin and played Super Mario 64 as an experiment.

It works great, except theres some sound issues.

I used the keyboard and assigned controls so it didn't feel awkward, and it worked great too.

What kind of sound issues? Is it possible that it could just be an emulator problem? Could you try it in the emulator but offline? (1964 is the emulator).

It's probably just the emulator. I hear a sort of crackling sound, and it hurts my ears after a while, but other than that, the plugin works good.

It shouldn't matter if they click the close game button or not.

Sorry to hear that.

Does it happen every time for every game?

What OS are you running?

For an experiment, could you see if it runs better in a different browser, such as IE or Firefox?

Thanks for moving my forum post last night.

2-3 minutes. I know that it takes some time to download the game (I noticed it hang in the middle of attempting to do that one time) so I made sure to give it enough time to do that.

Yes, every time. I have enough problems with it normally when I don't press close game before I'm done that I knew I would have to if I was going to have any chance of testing this properly

I didn't have any problems... I tried GBA, 32X, NES, and SNES, all on David's demo page. I didn't click the close game button for any of them, either. Seems to be working fine for me on Firefox. Haven't tried Chrome or IE yet, I'll tell you if anything different happens with them.

So I just tried it on the site... games worked fine (at least on SNES, ran out of time to try other systems), but I was still finding a few games that won't load, like Pokemon Stadium/Stadium 2. I don't know what's up with them, but that's something that should probably be looked into.

Keep in mind that those are very large games and take a while to load.

Yes, every time. I have enough problems with it normally when I don't press close game before I'm done that I knew I would have to if I was going to have any chance of testing this properly

Ok. I'm going to update 1.0 to show additional status info. It might help with figuring this out later. I still think it might be a download/upload problem.

You shouldn't have to click the Close Game button. That used to matter, but now the design is such that it should do it for you automatically. Really, I don't see much point in having a close button now. A reset one might make sense tho.
