Seriously, Mattman, you need to calm down. You're accusing us of closed-mindedness and all and saying we are just looking at the old generations and such with nostalgia glasses, and yet you refuse to listen to our reasons for liking the old games! You're being just as closed-minded as you think we are. FYI, I like the new games, but I don't think they can compare to the classics.... they've just lost their sense of originality. Just bring that back and I'm sold, Nintendo will have me for life. Keep getting less and less original, and, well... I'll be done with Pokemon. As it is, I'm probably going to give up after Gen V anyways, they really aren't as fun anymore.

pokemon will never be on any other platform only because i dont see nintendo selling any share of the pokemon license to sony or microsoft. i know most companies are doing this now but nintendo has being around longer then those two. they dont need to put it onto any more platforms this is one that i feel needs to stay in one company. I just dont see the point. sorry but its the truth

Okay I get the whole other platform aspect of it but I'm saying that they should make a full feauture RPG style game, with all the GEN poke'mon, and make it like the Game Boy games with some good graphics and visuals, it would sell, and I think would be pretty cool....You take all that and put it on the Wii, then you dont have to worry about other platforms and systems....

while a game like that would be good i think a lot of people would be upset. for example people buy a ds to play pokemon and now if they want to play the latest pokemon game they have to buy a 200 dollar wii instead of an 80(used) to about 130(new) dollar ds. i know this is how things work and they do it to sell more systems but still i can just see massive amounts of PROTEST THIS POKEMON GAME and BRING THIS TO THE DS PETITION blogs popping up all over the web if they did that.

Dude, relax with the caps... I think they really should expand the Console based RPG element of Pokemon because it would probably increase the number of fans, thus increasing the amount of sales.

And since when has that ever worked? I think it would be a wise move; judging by the stuff I've seen here and other places, a good, full, RPG for the Wii would only upset a handfull of fans.
