Pokemon Hollow Mysteries Is this hack any good?
Pokemon Master Version This is not really a hack even though technically it counts as one. -.-
Pokemon Double Battle It is not all the time! Most of the time you do but it is only with trainers with 2+ Pokemon. :)

Interesting Hack
To start I do not usually play Emerald hacks because I do not like how there is so much more puzzles to go through. I am more of a training up my Pokemon and beating the E4 as soon as possible just to add the hack to my list of completed games. However, this hack was actually interesting and definitely more enjoyable than the original Emerald version of which this is a hacked version of. I had to go to google for the puzzles and to figure out what to do during different points of the game just because I haven't played Emerald in a while. This game is really good and fun to play and offers so much more than the original Emerald game.

Overall: 10
This hack deserves a 10/10 rating. It had different starters, great wild Pokemon, some pretty interesting map changes for certain cities and towns which held really cool "secrets: as the creator puts it, the E4 is changed up and is stronger than usual both with attacks and levels, and of course the champion..... 1 word of advice for the champion and that is to have a variety Pokemon team because the champion's Pokemon are apparently hand picked by the creator of the hack! Seems kind of scary and trust me it is.....

Graphics: 10
I absolutely LOVED how some of the graphics were switched around in this hack! Some Pokemon like my Blastoise and Charizard had really neat looking glows when you threw them out during battles! Blastoise had this blue shine to it and my Charizard had a red shine, both were similar but still pretty cool. Then the creator kept the cut scenes in it where you saw Groudon and Kyogre battling which was really epic and different! So graphics deserve a 10/10 because it was both better and considering the console it is under the graphics were great!

Sound: 10
Not much to say about this since the creator of this hack chose not to play around with some of the in game tracks. I however, like the fact that nothing annoying was added and made the experience with listening to t... Read the rest of this Review

Not bad?
So there have been many hacks that have been submitted and uploaded to this website because of a Pokémon Hack Competition but does quantity really mean more than quality? Though this hack may have had a little twist added does it really make it a game that would be considered a "hack"? The only changes that I saw playing this game were changes made to wild Pokémon in some areas, the starter Pokémon which include: abra, zubat, and gastly (By the way developer you should change the summary so abra is spelled correctly), and also some minor map changes which include a few building placements, and how certain random sprites out of battle look. So again does this really count as a hack despite the definition that just claims a few minor changes technically makes a game hacked? I do not think so but despite my opinion on the topic I decided to try this game out regardless and make a review.

Graphics and Sound: 8
Nothing was changed in these areas from the original Pokémon Ruby game on the GBA so there is nothing to really talk about in this area. The original Pokémon Ruby Version had phenomenal graphics and the soundtracks were in my opinion much better than previous versions. So these categories still deserve a rating of 8 just because of the fact that the original versions would score very high and because the original soundtracks and graphics were not changed.

Addictiveness: 3
One of my favorite in game Pokémon to have is an Abra and I loved the fact that it was a starter and that it could fully evolve into the Alakazam without the need to trade. I was quickly disappointed to find out that the creator changed the move pools of it around as well as the level it fully evolves (Should be lv.16 but instead it was lv.8) Now the move pools SHOULD HAVE NOT been changed around just because each starter holds a Masterball. Though it is not very fun having a lv.5 Abra as a starter that only knows Teleport, there was the 2nd... Read the rest of this Review

This counts as a hack.....
So this hack actually counts as a hack just because there was a minor change made to it that is not in the original. Yep, that is all there is that changed. So what is this minor change? Simple, in Pallet Town there is a patch of grass where you are able to catch super powerful lv.1 Pokémon which include:Gyarados, Blaziken, Pidgeot, Metagross, Rayquaza, Alakazam, Machamp, Golem, Gengar, Mewtwo and Salamence. So is this technically a hack? Yes it does count as a hacked game because there was a minor change from the original. It is a little annoying being a beginner of making hacks myself (Thankfully my brother is teaching me with some hacks he is making) and seeing that a change which was made as such literally takes the developer less than 10 minutes to make. So I have no idea why this "hack" was even accepted on this website but I gave it a chance and it was too easy. So time for the categories!

Graphics and Sound: 8
Fire Red and Leaf Green had amazing graphics but since nothing changed from the original version in these areas these categories deserve a rating of 8. The hack did have great graphics compared to Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald so a rating of 8, and the soundtracks were better as well than those titles so sound deserves an 8.

Addictiveness: 3
I would not play this hack again just because of the fact that this is not a beta version and there is only a minor change which was made from the original which if I wanted to I could do the same thing in 10 minutes and knowing that as a gamer I feel that I was ripped off of my time. :( though it was incredibly easy I do not recommend this hack just because again it did not really offer anything that was very different just a way to have a super powerful team right in the beginning which some gamers may like but some would hate.

Story: 7
Fire Red and Leaf Green did not have a lot of changes from the original Pokémon Red and Blue so even though it is a great story to ... Read the rest of this Review

One of the greatest hacks I have ever played!
Just to start this review off this is in my top 3 favorite hacks and being a Pokémon Hack Gamer that really tells a lot about this hack. It is not the type of hack where there are new maps, new gyms, text changes, etc. which is not that great because the adventure aspect does not change but it is also not bad because I have seen some very awkward changes in hacks where you could tell the developer did not work very hard on it. The main changes in this hack is the fact that on the beginning routes you could catch both legendaries and random final evolutionary Pokémon such as Gorebyss, Aggron, Moltres, Salamence, etc. which if you love legendary Pokémon then you will absolutely enjoy this hack. Also another change is that there is a path before you battle your rival for the first time that makes it possible to go to slateport right off the bat or you could catch some Eevee evolutions and final evolutionary starter Pokémon but not all of them as far as I know which if you love starter Pokémon or Eevee evolutions you will be pleased with that add on in this hack. And of course in my opinion one of the more interesting add ons in this hack is you could catch all the hack's starters at lv.50 after Fortree City which makes the game much easier even though it was already not too difficult to begin with.

Graphics: 9
Same as Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire so not really much to comment and explain in this category. There were no bugs and no sprite changes so everything is very clear as usual even the battle effects. Deserves a 9 in this category because in other hacks there are many sprite bugs and also for the GBA Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire had very clear graphics vs other game titles on the console.

Sound: 9
Again same as Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire which is fine because in some hacks there are soundtracks that can get very annoying very fast.

Addictiveness: 10
Personally I love playing this game every c... Read the rest of this Review

Really challenging!
Wow my very first review on here! So this review will be about the game "Pokémon Double Battle" in my opinion one of the hardest Pokémon hacks I have played and I absolutely LOVE Pokémon hacks. The problem is that this game is only a beta version even though I have been told that you could play it all the way through so instead of saying it is a beta version maybe you could say that it is incomplete? There are a few bugs but that does not surprise me since this is an incomplete game.

Graphics: 9
This beta version is an incomplete hack of Pokémon Sapphire but playing through this game the name "Double Battle" sums it up because throughout the game even if the trainer only has 2 Pokémon it will be a double battle. Which to me adds to the graphics rating because both Pokémon Sapphire and Ruby did not have that type of game mode. Other than that the same graphics were left from Pokémon Sapphire which was not a big let down but one could hope when the developer releases the main version we will see a boost in graphics.

Sound: 9
The sound was left the same as Pokémon Sapphire which was a relief because I like playing with the sound on during hacks and the same music as in the original is in my opinion just so much better than random music being put in that gets annoying after a while. Since Pokémon Sapphire had such an array of soundtracks all which were not annoying I gave this rating a 9.

Addictiveness: 10
So as I said this game does have its bugs but the addictiveness is really there. I do not usually enjoy certain hacks due to weird text changes that are jokes about random cartoons that I never watched, the really random starters that do not really go well together as starters, and of course the really not well done map changes that confuse you because instead of doing a good job it seems that the creator just pieced together random map parts. This hack does not give you any of those th...
