Mario Clash 10-12-13 01:49 PM

Mario Clash
I actually enjoyed playing this game. I noticed a few bad things about it, though, like how it is hard to aim through different layers. If I had to describe it in as few words as I could, I would say it is a 3-D Mario Bros, since that is really all it is.
Graphics: 6
The graphics in this game were okay. I really thought that the game depended on the 3-D of the Virtual Boy. Otherwise, they were pretty good. I really got annoyed by the overwhelming red, which strained my eyes.
Sound: 8
When I first played this game, I thought that it would sound horrible, because I did not know how good the Virtual Boy would sound, but when I actually played the game, I was amazed by how good the sound was.
Addictiveness: 6
Whether you have played the game before or not, it is still just about as addictive. It's not like one of those games where you play for hours, but just one of those games that you play every once in awhile.
Story: 1
The story is very simple; Enemies go into a tower called Clash Tower. Mario, thinking he must save the day, enters the tower. I really didn't think that the game should even have a story.
Depth: 7
The game was fairly long, having 99 levels. Even though there were a lot of levels, you can only select up to level 40. I thought that there are too many levels, though.
Difficulty: 6
The game was fairly difficult. The controls are odd, because you use the B button to jump, and the A button to throw. It takes a while to get used to the controls, but after that, it's fairly easy.
Overall: 8.4
To sum it all up, the game was good, but the red was annoying. If it would have been ... Read the rest of this Review
