SuperViperT302's Last 10 Game Comments (view last 100) | Nemesis 3 - The Eve of Destruction | How are people getting this game to work? Refuses to load for me. | Gofer no Yabou Episode 2 | Something's wrong with this game... it refuses to load. | Parodius da! | FINALLY 1CCD THIS FRIGGIN GAME (although tbh, it's not really that hard). | Salamander | Sorry everyone... XD | Parodius da! | I guess everyone has their own opinion. I also guess I am knocking on it for being an NES game, but I just feel like even the Game Boy port of the game did a better job than this. Also, the MSX Parodius is an almost completely different game, just FYI. | Parodius da! | It's the worst port of this game is my problem. The SNES, PC-Engine, and Game Boy ports were really good IMO. But the NES port just sucks. It's also the only port of the game I haven't managed to 1CC yet, due to the game just being flat-out bullcrap. | Parodius da! | This game can burn in hell | Gradius III | Doing a high score run right now. Got past the first loop with about 6 or 7 deaths on the final stage, and I no-deathed the second loop. Wish me luck for loop 3! | Gradius III (Asia) | All three versions are based on the World version. Please fix this. | Gradius II - GOFER no Yabou (Japan Older Ver.) | What happened to the graphics? They look rather terrible. |

Kaizo Mario 64 06-02-14 02:49 PM |
Kaizo Mario 64 Review Welcome to Kaizo Mario 64. To quote BikdipOnaBus (who LP'd this game, where I found out about this game), "it's Mario 64, if the whole game were on fire. And there are a ton of Chuck-ya's and switches that produce blocks." Both me and the game highly recommend you savestate a lot. This is a much harder version of Mario 64. I won't spoil anything for you just yet. Graphics: 7/10 A lot of the grass and other things look a lot brighter. The stars are redesigned, looking interesting. Nothing really new. Sound: 9/10 It's Mario 64, what do you expect? A couple of tunes play in different areas, though. Addictiveness: 5/10 I feel like this game would be good, but I need to play through the whole thing first. Story: 3/10 There's nothing really special about the story. Bowser has interesting text, though. Depth: 7/10 I like the new variety in the game, there's several new things to do. And find out about. Difficulty: 43.8/10 No need to explain. This is Kaizo Mario 64. Of course, it's hard! |

Gokujou Parodius SNES Review by SuperViperT302 This is a review of the SNES version of Gokujou Parodius! Graphics: 6/10 The graphics are not as cool as the arcade version, and the physics are a bit poorer than Parodius Da for SNES. Still passable. Sound: 4/10 In Parodius Da, the music was very accurate, and well put. But my goodness, here, it STINKS! About HALF the tunes are at a wrong pitch or tune, and sound AWFUL! The sound effects are pretty poor. Addictiveness: 8/10 Despite being a poor port, this game is a very fun game to high score run. I can get over two million points in ONE game! Story: 2/10 Hardly any story. Depth: 5/10 Not many new details, stages, or modes, but still very big. Difficulty: 4/10 The game is pretty hard on harder difficulties, but nice on difficulty 2. Overall: 8.5 Not as good of a port as Parodius Da SNES, but very good indeed. Recommend it for Parodius lovers! |
Parodius da! Shinwa kara Owarai he 03-01-14 01:58 PM |
Parodius Da! SNES Review by SuperViperT302 In 1990, Konami released an arcade game called Parodius Da. Later, they re-released it for the SNES. I will now be going over my scores. Graphics: 8/10 Konami did a good job with the graphics, comparing to the arcade version. The game's physics are MUCH better ported then Gokujou Parodius. But some background textures are funny, and the background for the stage 8 (underwater) boss is wrong. Overall, nice rendering. Sound: 9/10 Some music tunes are better than the arcade version, some are a bit worser. All themes are very well ported overall. The tune is correct (unlike Gokujou Parodius) and the pitch is close to correct (unlike Gokujou Parodius). The new music is awesome! Addictiveness: 7/10 There are other games I'd rather play than Parodius Da. But I still like this game, despite not being like the arcade version. Story: 3/10 I could care less for Parodius's story. There doesn't seem to be one here. Depth: 6/10 There are 11 stages, including the 10 from the arcade version. The added bathhouse stage is cool, and the Omake Stage is FUN! The layout of the stages is pretty much identical to the arcade version. Difficulty: 6/10 The easier difficulties are okay, though Normal and higher is extremely crazy. Good luck! Overall: 9.5/10 I enjoy Parodius in general (aside from the MSX and Jikkyou Oshaberi) so I recommend it. Be prepared for craziness! |
Super Mario 74 02-28-14 09:26 PM |
Super Mario 74 Review by SuperViperT302 We all probably know what Super Mario 64 is. Did you know there were lots of hacks of this game? My personal favorite (though I haven't played much) is this game, Super Mario 74. A hack created by Lugimord, this game is VERY awesome. The original had a total of 120 stars, and this game has one more than the DS version! There are now 46 secret stars, and still 15 main courses. Here are their names: Course 1: Dice Fortress Course 2: Skyward Slopes Course 3: Azure Abyss Course 4: System of a Town Course 5: Haunted Factory Course 6: Stagalmite(sic) Cave Course 7: Ice Crystal Tower Course 8: Overheating Oasis Course 9: Flowery Gardens Course 10: Swampy Spring Course 11: Sunny Beach Course 12: Cliff of Wrath Course 13: Magma.... Forgot the name Course 14: Luminum Sphere Course 15: Ombru Sphere Whew! Anyway, difficulty-wise, all I have to say is this: Get your savestates ready! There are A LOT of tricky stars, especially in the last two courses. There are some switches with very hard blocks, like Kaizo Mario 64. About every course has some precise wall jumping required, which often leads to death if you fail. And the worst part is that the camera... well, sucks. Someone REALLY needs to re-hire Lakitu! Main courses are like the original game: Six main stars, and a 100 Coins star. However, some courses have hard 100 Coin Stars, as well as red coin stars. And Sunny Beach has EXACTLY 100 Coins. Good luck. :p So do I recommend this? Yes, of course! =D It's just a little hard, and it may require LOTS and LOTS of save stating. There's even a secret way to reach outside the castle in Super Mario 64! Enjoy this game! -SuperViper |
