Pokémon Blue Kaizo Review
Whew! Talk about a trip down memory lane. Pokémon Blue was a very fun game. So what did they do to the game? Simple. Make it THE hardest game I have played.
Now, the graphics, music and plot are the same from Pokémon Blue. However, there is one notable catch. No matter what you chose as your starter, your rival's first Pokémon WILL be Mew. That is stupid. That Mew gets very strong later on, making it tough to take hits from it. Don't forget, in the first generation of Pokémon, the Psychic type was overpowered. With a Mew, you have trouble on your hands.
Despite the game's difficulty, it is actually pretty fun. There can be times where you want to flip over a table, but other times, you're taking a bath in nostalgia.
The game has much to offer with it's difficulty and the wide range of Pokémon to catch. Remember when you always wanted to "Catch 'em all"? In this game, you can. It will take a long time, but if you search in the right places and stock up on Ultra Balls, Professor Oak will be proud of you.
Overall, Pokémon Blue Kaizo is a game I recommend for long time fans. While things can get a little cheap *cough* level 100 Weedle *cough*, this game can be enjoyed by the people with the right minds for challenges.
