Pokemon Emerald 3 in 1

Pokemon Emerald 3 in 1
Overall: 9.6
Graphics: 10
Sound: 10
Addictiveness: 8
Story: 9
Depth: 8
Difficulty: 6

Game Background: The game is based off of Pokémon Emerald(developed by gamefreak), this is a home brew hack by Earthwarrior. In this hack the creator has made it possible for the gamer to capture all of the starters in the Hoenn region(place where the game takes place). Other than that detail, the game is unchanged and follows the official version of Pokemon Emerald to the T. Now I know what your thinking "What that's it that's all the creator chose to hack", well yes and it was a brilliant decision because I've seen and played many Pokémon emerald hacks were the dialog and  Pokémon sprites as well as areas where hacked  and turned into mediocre(the dialog) and less desirable changes(dialog and areas an Pokémon sprites). The game offers fans/gamers of the Pokémon franchise the chance to go threw(in my opinion) the best story/plot in any Pokémon game and experience all the challenges of Pokémon Emerald with the luxury of  being able to capture all of the starters from the Hoenn region, but be warned the catching success rate of the starters has been altered and they do take a little bit more effort to capture.

Graphics: The animations in this hack are completely unchanged, they are what you would expect from official Pokémon Emerald, your characters reflection in the sea and oceans, excellent fully flourished color of buildings and people as well as Pokémon battle scenes.Only issue is like in the original your characters facial details(in normal walking around), well you can barley make out what there facial features look like.

Sound:  Well the sound in the game(its quality) is what you'd expect from any other game on the Gameboy Advanced System, altho the sound track on  the game itself is repetitive and gets rather annoying fast(especially in mid battle). The sou... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Ruby 3 in 1

Pokemon Ruby 3 in 1
Game Background- Well as the title seems like a dead give away, this game is a hack of Pokémon Ruby where you can catch all three starter Pokémon(Mudkip,Torchic, and Treeko). The difficulty to catch the starters seems to have been messed with and it is gradually harder to catch the them even tho they aren't suppose to be there in the first place. Unlike other hacks where all three starters are available, in this hack all the starters can be found right on the first route. In my opinion it's a good thing because it makes building a well balanced team easier because you have a good start with diverse Pokémon types straight from the beginning  and as every Pokémon fan knows type advantage is the best advantage when battling Pokémon.

Graphics- The graphics remain unchanged in this Pokémon Ruby hack. The Pokémon forms as well as the buildings and general grass, water, cave and sea areas remain the same with no changes. The hacks graphics are what you would expect from Pokémon Ruby, animations such as reflections in water, excellent color scheme with no discolorations. So for graphics i gave the hack a 10 out of 10.

Sound-The hacks soundtrack hasn't been changed at all from the game its based off of(Pokémon Ruby). The music is repetitive and gets quite annoying after a period of time. The hacks creator didn't mess with the sound of the Pokémon battle cries at all. Although the music is rather annoying, its quality such as acoustics and pitch is  of the best quality for a game coming from/made for  the Game Boy advanced system, so for sound i gave the hack a 10 out of 10.

Addictiveness- I'm very likely to replay this hack again especially if I'm in the mood for a replay of the Hoenn region, 3rd generation Pokémon adventure. I enjoyed this hacked version of Pokémon Ruby significantly more than the original because of the fact that you could get all three starters and other than... Read the rest of this Review
Danny Phantom - The Ultimate Enemy

Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy
Game background- One of the only good and memorable games to ever really come out of Nickelodeon studios. I believe this game was released(came out) after and is based off of the movie "Danny Phantom Ultimate Enemy". The story goes like this Danny Fenton,a half ghost half human teenage boy is struggling to study for C.A.T.'s(he waited till the last minute to study) now in his desperation he abuses his ghost powers to steal the answers off his teacher Mr. Lancer. Meanwhile in the distant future there is a ghost destroying Amity Park(the games town and setting) and he has just broken into the master of time ghost's(clock work's) layer and has succeed in going back to the past, and now since he has broken back into the past some of Danny's other foe's have also gone  back to extract revenge on him while he was weak and young.

Graphics- The graphics are decently descriptive, you can tell what the objects are suppose to be but the animation its self is rather bad, the facial graphics on the characters are hardly recognizable in mid game play but on another note the cut scene graphics are spot one with perfect detail and colorization. The level/stage design graphics is basic, what you would normally expect, not to very realistic tho and the animation was done a little poorly, so for graphics I gave the game a 8 out of 10.

Sound- The sound on the game is excellent it kinda gives you that feeling that you are a true super hero and really does help set the mood for what ever is going on for the level/stage you are on. There are no irregularities in pitch or acoustics, the soundtracks music changes and is different on each stage so that's a huge plus(you wouldn't hear the same tone over and over again). So for sound I gave the game a 10 out of 10.

Addictiveness- I'm not very likely to play this game over again because of the fact that the constant jumping back and forth between the past and the future in the game makes the storyline hard to follo... Read the rest of this Review
Pokemon Ruby

Pokemon Ruby
Game Background- This is gamefreak's 7 installment in the Pokémon franchise for Japan and gamefreak's 6th installment in the Pokémon franchise for America. The game features a(n) all new story that takes place in the Hoenn region with an all new International criminal gang   organization known only as Team Magma who's motives are to drain out the sea to make/form new landmass for mainland Pokémon, using the legendary power of the myth Pokémon known as Groudon. There are a huge amount of legendary Pokémon in this game which is very uncommon compared to the amount of legendary Pokémon seen in previous installments in the franchise( a total of 7 legendary Pokémon). The game has some very interesting and new features like for example it now rains(it can rain heavily or drizzle), the sun shines(it can be bright or drought like),there are two kinds of bikes instead of the usual one kind(mach or acro bike).

Graphics- Once again gamefreak manages to pull another visually stunning display of beautiful animation. The waves out on the water move, you can see your reflection in small puddles ocean's. The colorization is the most realistic to date, meaning it feels almost real. The Pokémon look almost exactly like how they appear in the pokedex during battle, but with better resolution(pixel wise) and a lot better graphic design and color is evenly distributed thru out. The graphics and color on the buildings and in towns have only gotten better and more unique and descriptive. There are no game freezes or crashes nor are the any deformities in the Pokémon spirits, so for graphics I gave the game a 10 out of 10.

Sound- The game is like every other Pokémon game that comes out each one has its own new soundtrack, but the music does repeat constantly in battle which can get really annoying. The games sound quality its self is fine acoustics and pitch wise with no irregularity's such as sound distortions(unl... Read the rest of this Review

Pokemon Silver
Game Background- This is gamefreak's 6th installment in the Pokemon franchise for Japan and gamefreak's 5th installment in the Pokemon franchise for America. The game picks up multiple years after the Kanto region in the all new Johto region. In this game it's an all new elite 4 with a new champion and gym leaders ect, but instead of Koga(as seen in Kanto as a gym leader) this time around he is an elite 4 member. The game has some interesting new features such as the phone and the day and night feature which only added to the diversity in Pokemon you will encounter.

Graphics- The game have has shown a remarkable improvement on graphics compared to what was seen in previous installments in the franchise. The pokemon now have color when they enter battle and instead of the town all being one color(as seen in older games in the franchise), this time each item/building in town has its on color like what you would see in real life. Also the graphic pixal wise have had an update, the pokemon actually look like how you would see them when you look them up in the Pokedex and show a better more clear description of them(they actually look like what they are suppose to be). So for graphics I gave the game a 10 out 10.

Sound-The games soundtrack changes with the passing thru each town/area. They are no distortions or irregularity's in the sound as far as pitch and acoustics go(unless you use speed bar), although the soundtrack is all new, it does get a little annoying to hear after awhile to listen to especially you get into a lot of wild Pokemon battles. So for sound I gave the game a 10 out of 10.

Addictiveness- I'm very likely to play this game again because of it's story and it's extra perks like not just being able to beat through Johto gym's, the game also allows you to go back to Kanto and re-beat some of Kanto's gyms as well. The new pokemon also play's a part in the games addictiveness, with there looks and stats it really had me wanting to c... Read the rest of this Review
