Mega Man
12-09-12 08:28 AM
Most underrated in the series.
This is usually the most underrated of all games. Like Mega Man 8 and 6, i thought they were great. Six actually became my all time favorite. But i don't know anyone who says he/she likes them.
But some people love 5 and 7, while i thought they weren't that good, but we aren't talking about those games right now.

Graphics: This was kinda hard to rate. It had the weakest graphics in the whole series, but still very impressive for NES. So i decided to rate this 7.

Sound: Ah, i love this soundtrack! Especially both boss themes and Dr. Wily stage themes! They felt like you were actually approaching Wily's castle, and not many NES games could do that. Mega Man 2 Wily's castle theme is overrated.

Addictiveness: Mega Man game i play the most has got to be Mega man 6, but even still, this has some very interesting differences to the other Mega Man games that make it so enjoyable to play.

Story: What?! A story in a NES game that WASNT cliché?!

Depth: Alright, alright, this game isn't very long and it doesn't have many secrets either aside from the magnet beam. At least they fixed that in Powered Up!

Difficulty: Now this is what you call hard. This was the second hardest in the whole series, and we all know why,
That Yellow annoying blob monster.

Overall: This is a underrated masterpiece in the Mega man history. Everyone should try it out and see what i mean.
Earthbound

Such a great RPG...
This is probably one of the most forgotten SNES games ever.
It has a funny but good story, unforgiving music and characters,
one of the most disturbing villains ever, and maybe one of the biggest jerks ever:
Pokey, which was later called Porky.
Lets begin:

Graphics: I do NOT care what you say. I think it has great graphics.
Ness was a bit different in SSB, but still he looks great to me.

Sound: I cant believe how some people don't remember this soundtrack.
It is a great soundtrack and if you never heard any of this games themes, you really should listen to it!

Addictiveness: ...I just cant tell how much i want to play this game.

Story: Its not just funny... Its also one of the greatest!
I don't want to spoil anything, so lets move on.

Depth: Ever tried to talk to every character in the game?

Difficulty: Just keep holding D on the first enemies.
Later on you get PSI and other stuff you have to use against enemies.

Overall, one of the most forgotten gems on 16 bit history!
Super Mario Land

My favorite of the series!
Yes, this is my favorite Mario game.
Even better that superstar saga, and i can tell why:

Graphics - Alright, its nothing like we see games today, but i think its pretty good for a hand help console.

Sound - Great, just like with the original on the 8-bit NES!

Addictiveness - If i had game boy, i would buy this game and take this game everywhere i go.

Story - Well, you can't see the story, but heres how it goes:
SPOILERS!
Princess Daisy has been kidnapped by alien that name i don't remember, and you have to save her by going through each world by walking, flying or even using a submarine if i remember correctly.
SPOILERS END HERE.

Depth - This game is very short, but what did you expect for a game boy game?
At least you can have sometimes some difficult parts that take some time to complete...

Difficulty - This is the easiest Mario game ever.
Its not so difficult and its very short like i just said.
Even the controls are so smooth (even on emulator!) that if you die, its not controls fault: its your own fault.

Overall, the PERFECT Mario game!
Little Nemo - The Dream Master

Why did i play this game.
Now some people may not agree that i call this garbage, but i think its CHEAP and NOT WORTH YOUR TIME.
Heres my rating:

Graphics are actually kinda good, but sometimes i think to myself "HOW DO I GET A FROG SUIT FROM... THIS AWKWARD THING???"

Sound isnt that bad either. Its actually kinda catchy. Like megaman.

Do i want to play this again? Hahahahahaha NO. It doesnt even have good gameplay! COLLECTING KEYS! Yeah go play metroid instead.

Story i dont care about story and i always skip it. I belive its even still something like BLAH BLAH BLAH SAVE THE GIRL NOW GOU. And in the very beginning, you have to listen to guy named flip ALWAYS WHEN YOU START THE GAME. BLAH BLAH BTW MY NAMES FLIP.
I actually starts thinking he is a... Pedo..?

The game MAY be kinda big. IF YOU GET PAST THE FIRST CHEAP DREAM.

Now here comes the fun part: DIFFICULTY.
Its cheap. You cant beat it. You want to beat it but you just continue 10 years until you get to second level.
For example in the first level theres a place where you jump up some blocks attached to a waterfall (yeah right) and you just take frog suit and jump but WHOOPS, bee comes and pushes you down and you lose a life. Now theres only THREE. LIVES. It should have at least 99!
And then theres that CHEAP ENEMY PLACEMENT. You go to the almsot end of the stage and you know theres a key on top of the hill. You start feeding the dinosaur but a BEE COMES AND KILLS YOU WITH NO WARNING. And you cant even attack it, BECASUE NEMO IS SO WEAK. And you only can attack with frog suit. BY JUMPING ON ENEMIES. Now theres 2 mario references.

Overall, DONT PLAY IT.
ITS A SEQUAL TO ET ON ATARI.
Mother 3 (english translation)

I just love this game.
I love this game ALOT. Why it didn't come to my country?
Graphics:
I dont care what anyone says, i like these graphics. I think Porky looks MUCH more threatening than in Earthbound.
Sound:
Just search mother 3 ost and you understand why i give it 10 out of 10.
Addictiveness:
I will play it EVERY DAY.
Story:
Pretty funny actually.
It also manages to be dark.
For example, the absolutel safe capsule.
Porky is stuck for eternity, and he will never die. Thats just... Sad.
Depth:
This is TOTALLY not mario party.
Difficulty:
Not very hard. You learn all kinds of new moves along the way.
Overall, its a VERY good game, and you should play it.
