SNK vs. Capcom: The Age of a New Millennium.
So. SNK Vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium! How is it? Well, I'll get to that in a second, but first, HISTORY LESSON!
I called this The Age of a New Millennium for a good reason. This is, in fact, the first Crossover game ever made with Capcom. And what better choice than former employees? Yes, well.... It's a little deeper than that. You see, Capcom kinda forced this on SNK, who was just getting their feet wet with King Of Fighters and Fatal Fury. The agreement was, who ever produced the crossover got all the royalties. Yeah, bit of an incentive huh? Well, guess who got the first kill? That's right, SNK! Well... In theory. Actually, since this was produced on the NEO GEO, it didn't sell very well, and Capcom made their own crossover, which sold very well. But hey! SNK isn't too bad at what they did! Now we move on to actual reviews. (Yay!)
Graphics: 10 out of 10. One of the good qualities of the Neo Geo was it's amazing graphics. They were similar to the Game Boy Color, but way more advanced. Most characters have just one pallet from themselves, but it matches with the color that is usually associated with them. So that's cool. Also the background stages are very well done.
Sound: 10 out of 10. The music for this game really sets itself from the very beginning. While there is some lag here and there, I can't tell if that's ROM based, or just the game itself, but it doesn't disrupt my enjoyment in anyway. You can recognize the themes of the characters you are playing very distinctly, and the End Boss theme (Evil Ryu or -somethingorother- Iori)
Addictiveness: DAN OUDA DAN! (Major props for who gets this) I'm STILL coming back to play this game! This is like the first one I got when I joined Vizzed, and I'm STILL playing it! I... Read the rest of this Review

Pocket Fighters!
The famous Pocket Fighter. Famous from what you ask? Well, Pocket Fighters was referenced on the Street Fighter movie, Street Fighter Alpha. The best way too. Sakura, after sustaining some injuries, was taken to a hospital, where she was seen playing the game while Ken came in to check on her. Mother of Metas. Anyway, this game is a gem, probably one of the BEST mobile fighter games ever. Even more than SNK vs. Capcom: A Match of the Millennium on the NeoGeo. AND I LOVE THAT GAME! I think the only noticeable let-down is that this doesn't feel 100% Street Fighter. That doesn't matter considering this isn't a Street Fighter game, but it has a weird mix of feeling like a Crossover and a regular fighter in one, and that isn't always a good feeling.

Super Street Fighter II - Turbo Revival X.
Normally, I don't rate Street Fighter games this low (Except Street Fighter EX). This game, just isn't good. It doesn't feel like a SF game. First of all, kind of a personal point here, it takes three seconds to use a charge move. HOLY CRAP, Talk about unbalanced! I used to be good as Guile, but no more! The lack of buttons is disappointing, but that's due to the Game Boy Advanced's limitations. I really think this game could have been done better. Out of Super Street Fighter II - Turbo Revival, and Turbo Revival X, I like X more. It's a real homage to the original style of the game, with everything being Japanese (not that there was much to begin with) and the fact M. Bison's, Vega's, and Balrog's, names are in the correct Japanese way. This could be better, so much better.

Shin Kidou Senki Gundam W - Endless Duel 08-27-12 09:21 PM

New Mobile Report Gundam W
This game, is fun. Holy crap it's fun. For a lot of Anime/Cartoon-based games, they're bad. However, some few gems rise from the filth and they go on to become true masterpieces. I've never been big on the whole 'Gundam' universe and only knew it because... Mechas. So, this is a new light on a franchise most people never experience.
Graphics: While I was playing this game, I almost forgot I was playing a Famicom/Super Nintendo game. A Super Nintendo! I mean, even Street Fighter Alpha 2 didn't have as good as graphics and I love that game's art style. Nothing is ever dull or boring to look at. It's colorful, clear, and amazing.
Sound: The battle sounds are good. Really good. The music. Eeeehh, nothing memorable. But, nonetheless sound is strong in this games. Weapons and attacks sound tough. A grab sounds as hurtful as it is (very much so.)
Addictiveness: I'm personally a bit of a Fighting Game junkie. I judge games on the high standard set by titles like Street Fighter and King Of Fighters. And well, Gundam passes with spades. Everything feels balanced, nothing overpowered or underpowered. Every move has a use, and that's why it's addictive. Because it's good.
Story: Yeah... I really don't know what's happening here. Not much is being explained in a clear way. I'm pretty sure to understand anything, you have to watch the anime. You get bits of information from the opponents you fight, but it's not much to go on.
Difficulty: I decided to put this here instead of Depth so I can have something which leads into it. This game, is hard. Just as a fighting game should be. This isn't easy. You have to learn under fire how to perform moves and discover your opponent's weakness, and while getting you metal face beaten to a pulp t... Read the rest of this Review
