Pokemon Leaf Green Review
I want to give this game a quick review just to voice my opinion about a pretty good game
Overall a 9.1 is a fair grade it falls flat in a few areas but the other areas when they are awesome more than make up for it.
Graphics: Great for the Gameboy Advance but remember graphics arent very important on a handheld console like this it's mostly about core gameplay that keeps you going however I feel the character models could've been done better i understand its top down and not a powerful machine but really?
Sound: One of the best on the Game Boy Advance but that is not saying much since it's not a great sound system since im comparing it to game boy advance games i have to give it a ten
Addictiveness: It's a Pokemon game level up your Pokemon and keep playing very very addictive some times i play for over an hour i have completely lost track of time.
Story: Story has never been an integral part in a pokemon game since its sort of a go at your own pace game story isn't an issue here but this may be where it falls short a bit.
Depth: This game immerses you into a world of pokemon so it's a huge game with so much to do it could take well over 12 hours to beat if you do all you can and it's almost a precursor of sorts to the modern open world game where you do things as you feel unlike zelda I when your almost always on your toes killing every single screen.
Difficulty: Not a lot to say here pokemon games rarely are hard since its a family friendly game and does it well very, very well. However it's one of he easiest games i've ever played equivalent to playing Madden on rookie difficulty you beat the other team by about 100 points it just gets not fun. Pokemon makes it fun in an addictive i got to catch em all sort of way a lot of depth in it makes it much more enjoyable for everyone who plays such a great game like this
