First game in different langauge that i actualy like lol, although its also the first game that i dont realy understand. Example, why are pies acting as turrets? why are clouds spitting out bells? And why does food fly and attack you? Anyways is good game. |

Didn't make it to the first boss and kind of annoyed at how much the enemies heath was raised. But glad to see that some sudle changes were made to game such as gravity and morph ball appearance. This is a game that i will keep coming back to. |

Borderlands 2, the game that made me not hate all shooters. Borderlands 2, the game that made me not hate all shooters. When I bought the original Borderlands it was because it was a shooter that didn’t dwell on war, had nice graphics, and was most importantly fifteen bucks. When I got home, installed it, and loaded it up I expected nothing spectacular or particularly awesome, but I was wrong. I immediately became a fan of the franchise and bought Borderlands 2 when I had the chance and boy was I not disappointed. Graphics 9.0 The graphics of Borderlands 2 are quite unique for a video game in the sense that they feel like the art of a comic book. The attempt to make the game unrealistically drawn and at the same time realistic enough to immerse the player succeeded quite well. The player could find him/herself wandering around an area filled with snowcapped mountain peaks and suddenly come upon something that almost resembles a shanty town were bandits live. Of course the bandits are pissed that someone is disturbing their shady little lives and will attempt to kill the player(s) if that happens. Now we get to see what these bandits look like. Few of the bandit type enemies are unrealistic in their models proportioning, except the goliaths for example, but wear interesting costumes nonetheless. Most just wear a generic red cloth around their head with a borderlands emblem on it and an inoffensive looking jacket and pants, but some have truly comic bookish costumes: spiked helmets, spiked shoulder pads, and of course spiked boots. Not once did I think an areas or characters graphic looked out of place or poorly done, the art style was consistent throughout the entire game. I rate the graphics for this game at a 9.0 since I found them thoroughly enjoying. Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2 When I discovered the DS game Trauma Center had a sequel while browsing a grocers electronics department I decided I must have it. I was eager to be reunited with Dr. Derek Stiles and see the aftermath of the GUILT bio-terror scheme. Upon returning home I counted what money I had and found I had enough to buy this game. I soon returned to the grocer to buy this game and happily begun to play it once at home. This game was titled Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2. Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2 was a unique game for the DS in the sense that it dealt with surgery, yes surgery. Now, you may wonder how a game about a trauma center can be entertaining. I invite you to look at shows like Greys Anatomy. Such shows are entertaining because of the dramatic situations thrust upon the medical centers staff and how they deal, or don’t deal, with the situations. Although I never finished the first Trauma Center game for the DS (never actually owned it) Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2 filled in the gaps of my game knowledge and didn’t call upon the past game much anyways. So without further ado I shall begin my review. Graphics 8.0 To compare the DSs graphics to that of a 3DS would be absurd. The DS, although capable of supporting 3d models, could not support 3d models of great detail and have an environment of equal detail. Despite this fact some games near the portable consoles phase out such as Black and White 2 boasted 3d environments and detailed sprites for overall nice graphics. But am I talking about Pokémon? No, I am not. Those two games were released just recently comparatively to the game I’m reviewing. The game I am reviewing is one that was initially released in 2008, and we need to be mindful of the tech from then. Trauma Center: Under The Knife 2 is a game classed as a ‘visual novel’ so there isn’t any wondering around the game world like an RPG.
