Shadowgate 04-14-14 01:22 AM	A Pretty Weird Point and Click Let's get this review started,Shadowgate is a NES point and click game,I'm going to give the basic run down of the game and then i'll get down to the actual key parts of the game (Graphics,Story,Sounds,Etc.) Shadowgate is a pretty tough NES point and click where you venture through a dungeon(Original I know). You will face a lot of puzzles and enemies throughout the rooms of this labyrinth,minotaurs,trolls,werewolves,the works. Now,let me talk about the gameplay a bit before I get to the other categories. Of course it's the normal,move the cursor over stuff.You select the normal use/take/open/look,normal stuff from most point and clicks,nothing different here...Except that you must ALWAYS have a torch lit and with you for every room is dark in this game,so no torches equals..Game over,but luckily you have unlimited continues,witch is a BLESSING for this game!Onto the review! Graphics The graphics in this game are pretty good,you can tell what everything is and it's still keeping the idea that it's still an 8 Bit game. I give the graphics a 9(For the time atleast) Sound The sound is pretty good,there are only about 2 songs in the game,the death song,and the normal track that plays. I give it a...6,not that great but not bad. Story Not much story AT ALL really,here i'll give you as much as they give you: "The last thing you remember was standing before the wizard Lakmir as he waved his hands,gritting your teeth,you swear by your god's name you will destroy the warlock lord!" and that's it,really...It get's a 4 from me. Depth The game isn't too long,but thanks to trial and error,it lasts quite a bit,and it takes some brain power to win. I give it a 7. Addictiveness This is where most of the reason people played comes from,this game is addicting. You will continue and continue,you will save and come back.You WILL come back! It get's a 8 ... Ponymon Dusk (alpha 0.32) 09-03-13 08:05 AM	Pokemon With My Little Pony?How does this fair.. NOTE:I am a brony but i won't be giving this game any extra points to this game. Ponymon(or i guess what some people call it,Bronymon) is really just Pokemon Firered but every Pokemon is replaced by a character from My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic,nothing special here. The Sprites look good,pretty much as good as the original Pokemon sprites,that's pretty impressive. The Sound effects and music are all the same as the original game,again nothing special her. The Game is as addictive as the original once again nothing special besides the sprites,names and attack names,once more, nothing special. The Story is the exact same as the base game(Again,i know) just with the word "Ponymon" added in. The Depth is (Once again)the same as the base game. The Difficulty is the same,atleast if you know witch ponymon is witch Pokemon and know the types and moves.If you don't you might have a pretty hard time. Overall this game is pretty Metiocre,One last time there really isn't anything special to this game besides "OMG PONIES OMG!" The game get's a 6 by me.though the maker did a great job on the sprites and attack names,still doesn't give it much in it's favor.
Halo 2600 08-13-13 03:22 AM	Nothing Wrong With It There is NOTHING wrong with Halo on 2600,In fact it is a romhack of a game on the 2600. Now to start off the graphic's look pretty darn good for a Atari 2600 game so yea give that a 9. Not much sound effect's besides walking and gun shot's so yea a 7, not much to hear here. Now, the game is quite addicting and i do like to do "No Gun Run's", and it kinda is a strategic game instead of any "Trial and Error". I have NO idea what the story is so i'm gonna guess it's the original Halo's story, Alien's named covenant are invading and Master Chief is awoken to help destroy a giant space station named Halo. Not Much Depth to this, it is the same length as a lot of Atari games back then, giving that a 7. The game is pretty hard a lot of people miss the gun in the beginning of the game so they die too much no health bar either,pretty hard game. it's a pretty fun game...now here is something i need to close one THERE IS A FREAKING GUN WHEN THE GAME STARTS, GO UP ONE SCREEN! THERE HAPPY? NOW STOP GIVING THE GAME FLAK BECAUSE YOU CAN'T EXPLORE.Overall i give Halo on the Atari 2600 a 8.5
Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World 07-26-13 02:57 AM	The Classic Mario..now on the SNES The Super Mario Brother's are back and are now Packed into your Super Nintendo this was pretty much what every nintendo fan bought when they got a SNES It's all your favorite NES games on  a Super Nintendo Remade and remastered. The Graphic's are of course updated and redone,but for a Super Nintendo game it doesn't pop out as much as other title's for the system.It's still Mario though it's nice and colorful,but they do reuse a lot of the Super Mario World sprite's. The Sound in this game again recycle's a lot of the sound's from Mario World,as well as remastered version's of the original theme's. The game is not that addictive(not to me atleast),but it's Mario we all love Mario...right?....right....RIGHT?! The story is the same as any typical Mario game,not that well done.Unless you go by the original Super Mario Bros. manual witch had a story line i don't remember the details so here is the abridged version,"One day everything was grand and dandy in the Mushroom Kingdom, but one day King Koopa(A.K.A Bowser) and his Koopa army attack the Mushroom Kingdom turning all the toad's(the civilian's) into stone block's and kidnapping Princess Toadstool(Princess Peach).So pretty much Mario and Luigi are here to save the day!. The game is quite big..it has Super Mario Bros. Mario Bros. 2,Super Mario Bros. 3 and Lost Levels, and if you have the re-release you also get Super Mario World,so yea pretty big game. It's Mario. Not very hard but later on get's challenging(EXCEPT LOST LEVEL'S. THAT GAME IS HARD) so yea normal challenge. So yea, Super Mario All-Star's is probably any dream of a Mario fan,and they re-re-released it on the Wii. So if you like Mario then get this game if you haven't already!(or of course play it on here)
Sonic and Knuckles & Sonic 3 06-30-13 12:45 AM	Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Knuckles Sonic The hedgehog 3 and Knuckles is my favorite Classic Sonic game and ill try to explain it here Story:10 Sonic and Tails travel to a island that has mysteriously appeared in the ocean not knowing the island(Angel island) is actually a mystical island that uses the power of The Master Emerald to float in the sky.Knuckles the Echidna has been tricked by Eggman who was trapped here after sonic CD and has made Knuckles think sonic is there to use the Chaos Emeralds to steal the Master Emerald.Later after the Master Emerald is finaly taken from Knuckles by Eggman Knuckles,Sonic and Tails work together to stop Eggman from launching the Death Egg again! Graphics:10 This game's got really great looking visuals for a Genesis it appears to blend Sonic CD and sonic 2's visuals together a bit and it looks great the ground,Sonic,Tails and everything else look really great. Sound:9 The Music in the Original Sonic The hedgehog 3 without the S&K cartridge attached had some music inspired by Micheal Jackson(and yes we all know its true,a few of the songs have beats and sound the same)Aswell as the original credits theme was awesome but they cover those up and replace them,but i still love the full games music. Gameplay:8 The game play is the same as Sonic 2 ya got the spindash and super sonic if you collect all the chaos emeralds(and Hyper Sonic if you collect all the Super Emeralds in the S&K half)The Super Peel Out isn't here though from Sonic CD.Also Tails can fly in game now and in 2 Player mode Tails can fly sonic around.Gameplay has improved a bit from Sonic 2. Depth:10 In the original Sonic 3, the amount of levels there were it didnt even have as many levels as Sonic 2, it was so short, then you attached sonic 3 and S&K together and you get the longest Classic Sonic game!
