Pokemon Emerald 12-17-11 03:06 PM	Pokemon Emerald Review This game is the reason I truly began playing Pokémon. Pokémon Emerald is a upgrade of Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire, it is my favorite Pokémon game, Rayquaza is my favorite Pokémon, and emerald happens to be my birth stone. The graphics are what you expect from Pokémon however it does have a few cut scenes (which are epic) so I rate the graphics 8. The sound is great, however seeing as most just speed it up I rate it 7. As with most Pokémon games it is extremely addicting and seeing how I have played through it more times than I can count I rate addictiveness 10. The story is more extensive than most Pokémon games, especially with the Aqua, Magma battle (Magma for the win!), however story is still not very good so I will rate it a 6. The depth of this game is actually very good considering the after game has a lot to do (sadly the glitch at the Elite Four ruins the after game) and if you complete the Pokedex and talk to Birch you get a reward. I rate the depth an 8. It is Pokémon so if you have trouble just level grind a bit on wild Pokémon and your problem is solved so I only give difficulty a 5. Seeing as the game is my favorite Pokémon game (and it needs to be remade) I rate it a total of 10. For those of you that play enjoy getting up Sky Pillar the second time, I don't like Mudkips, and have fun. Oh and could someone please fix the Elite Four glitch, because the after game is fun.
Pokemon Crystal 09-17-11 10:27 PM	Pokemon Crystal This is one of the greatest games ever and is basically an older version of Pokémon Emerald or Platinum. The ideas of Gold and Silver mixed with Suicune is genius. This game has the usual Pokémon story line of catching them all and becoming the champion, but it puts in a bit of a storyline with Team Rocket. The graphics are what you'd expect from a gbc game and more. While most Pokémon games only have one region to explore this one has two, and at the end you get to fight the greatest challenge Red, the main protagonist of the first Gen. As well as the main story their are many side quests to complete like the mystery of the Unknown. For all of you looking for a good game I recommend this a hundred percent! If you do play this game have fun battling Whitney lol.
