In this jump'n'run you play the famous orphan and has to fight against Jafar.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is very simple and almost identical to the SNES game, except the sword you have here. You jump and run through the levels and you can defeat enemies by throwing apples at them or slay them with the saber. Besides the fight and jump you can collect diamonds to buy lifes or wishes from the traders in the levels (posted screenshot). And at the end of each level comes the kind of slotmachine Ginie (posted screenshot) were you can get lifes, apples, diamonds or a "lose". You can also unlock bonus levels where you can play as Abu (posted screenshot).
Graphic/Level:
The graphic is almost the same as on the SNES, there are just little differences, but nothing worth mentioning. But the levels in Aladdin on Genesis are much less creative. In the SNES Aladdin you have for example the Ginie-level, and here you're also in a lamp-level but it's not as creative and beautiful as in the SNES version. And the difficulty is quite the same as on SNES.
Sound:
The sound is, like in the SNES game, ok. It's nothing memorable but a good sound with some nice tunes but I think the SNES is a bit better, but just a little bit which doesn't effect the sound rating.
Conclusion:
The Aladdin game on Genesis is also a good Disney game with a flat story, a simple gameplay an ok sound but with less creative levels and a good graphic. I think the SNES game is better but just at little things.
