Hey people. I've been pondering about this for at least a week now and put a lot of thought into it. Has anyone here ever watched the television show, Supernatural? Well if you have, here's a thread looking for your comments about it...AS A VIDEO GAME!!

I imagine it being a third-person shooter. There being a career or story mode where you play as our boys, Sam & Dean throughout different environments. It would probably work out like "Kill the thing of the day!" perspective. That or there being the main plot of Supernatural where you look for John, then kill Lilith, then stop Lucifer and finally kill Eve. Thus ending the story.

Though the sub missions in the game would be "Kill the thing of the day!" throughout looking for John. Thus killing the thing of the day and gain access to the next location.

Killing Lilith would probably add to Sam's arsenal of weapons with his demon powers and "Kill the thing of the day!" would be occurring every other day while following the show's plot.

Stopping Lucifer would probably include dodging angels and "Kill the thing of the day!" would occur even less likely, but still occur.

And killing Eve would probably include finding "Heaven Nukes", hunting down angelic weapons like The Staff of Moses while "Kill the thing of the day!" would come back full force with new monsters such as the dragons and Eve's minions at the end would probably be the "Jefferson Starships".

However multiple levels would have you switch from Sam & Dean to some side characters such as Castiel or Bobby. Even Rufus too!

Video games based around TV shows generally aren't that good and a show such as supernatural would undoubtedly be filled with repetition and filler that it would probably end up being tedious and disparage people's opinion of the show

Well my hopes have not been diminished yet! Well I can imagine this as a third-person shooter can't you? Sure it might epicly fail due to the amount of people that actually know that there's a show out there called Supernatural, but it's worth a try isn't it?

I never really watched the show, honestly. I have seen a few episodes, but it just didn't interest me much. But I agree with the first response. It would probably end up being a big bust. Rarely do you have a game based off of a movie or a television series that turns out to be 'good'. Even rarer are games based off of them even close to great. At best, they are okay for when you are particularly board, but not much more than that. They just tend to make it as close to the environment of the show, and television just doesn't typically transfer over to the game world well. Video games need to have more freedom than having to stick with the premises of a television show.

Okay now my hopes have diminished. Okay so I'm gonna try and find something else that should definitely happen that people have been waiting for. Perhaps Starfox for Wii...
