As some of you might already know, I'm heavy into writing for TV and film, and I have my first screen credit, a short film called "Too Serious," coming soon. You'll be able to catch it on YouTube most likely when the short comes out.

Here is a brief synopsis on the short:

William has spent the entire weekend locked up in a cellar, wrestling with some of his past demons, thinking everyone he knows and loves is now gone because of the Apocalypse.

This film is to be shot as soon as possible, as the director has placed the film on high priority in recent days. And believe me or not, the script took a grand total of 40 minutes to write, and there's another one with him that will be coming as quickly as possible thereafter called "Out of Contact." Be on the lookout! I'm going to be posting here once the films are available!

Oh wow. That should be interesting to see. I love good stories about demons. I wouldn't mind seeing that. Hey. I got some stories about an angel and a god. Perhaps you can read it one day and get a feed back from you. This is a good day. I ran into a thread about demons and short stories about demons and Apocalypse. Lol.

In this case, the "demons" are some bad things he's done, and are more akin to the phrase "skeletons in the closet." But yeah, my email is in my profile; I might consider something like that some time. Largely I write science fiction, but that definitely qualifies as such. Send it via email, and you can be certain it'll be read by me, and potentially be converted to script form.

This film is largely a satire of Apocalypse films, since when I wrote it every Indie producer and his brother was making a film like that. It's got some dark humor in it, and the biggest joke is intended to kick you in the butt at the end. But I like a good challenge in regard to my writing...a better high than most of the drugs that are on the streets!

Well now, this should be interesting. It must feel great to have your work being produced. Keep us informed of the release.

This sounds awesome. Not a huge user of Youtube but I'd be glad to check it out. Good luck with this short and the future of your career.

I've also entered into a free script contest hosted by Amazon. The script I've entered is actually the first script that I completed...and I'm working on completing all of the hoops I have to jump through to give a lasting impression with those reviewing it.

The script is called "TASCOM: Resurrection," and any other details are being held in until I get the results of this contest in its final days. Everyone keep your fingers crossed, back me up in the prayers to see this one through to the end, or whatever you do to show support for this move; it's the bravest I've gotten with my work!

Also, I have more than 20 scripts submitted to an agency that are part of a series that is entering its 3d season. Right now I'm trying to get past my own exhaustion from my early morning work schedule, and some massive heartburn to get the effort going into the post-war seasons, but things are beginning to take form there as I have plenty to work with on that regard. I'll also be entering more of the feature scripts as time goes on...
