This is an intro to what I am planning to do for the next few weeks.

I am taking a class in college called "Christian Thought" (We joke around about the point the point of class is to think Christian-like, which sounds redundant since it is a Christian liberal arts college and the whole point is to integrate faith and learning ) but anyways, I am reading a book that is very interesting. It's about certain topics in debate format about certain secondary issues within Evangelical Christianity that may be debatable. This book establishes what Christians do believe vs non Christians, but also point what the disagreement in them would be. They are secondary issues, so disagreement in these issues would not exclude someone to not be a Christian (although I have some disagreements with the book on a few of the stances that are placed in there...a few that I believe are heretical.)

Anyways, I think it will be cool that I can post these debates once every Sunday and vote and express your evidence and viewpoints on your stance to each issue. I will post what Christians believe in the these issues and what are debatable and you can see for yourself.

This is only and introduction and a wait for approval from the moderators on whether this would be ok or not. There are 17 of them, they are listed as follows:

1. The Inerrancy Debate
2. The Providence Debate
3. The Foreknowledge Debate
4. The Genesis Debate
5. The Divine Image Debate
6. The Christology Debate
7. The Atonement Debate
8. The Salvation Debate
9. The Sanctification Debate
10. The Eternal Security Debate
11. The Destiny of the Unevangelized Debate
12. The Baptism Debate
13. The Lord's Supper Debate
14. The Charismatic Gifts Debate
15. The Woman in Ministry Debate
16. The Millennium Debate
17. The Hell Debate

Book: Across the Spectrum: Understanding Issues in Evangelical Theology, 2nd Edition. By Gregory A. Boyd and Paul R. Eddy ISBN 978-0-8010-3793-1
